Could've sworn there was a thread on this already, but I guess not.

This movie was supposed to come out a long time ago. I don't really go to the movies a lot, so I thought it was released on time, but then I saw commercials for it and was like wtf? so I guess they just pushed it back, but Anton is a pretty good actor.

This movie was awful. I swear I posted about it before. If you want to watch this movie but a zillion times better, watch Rushmore, because that's what whoever made this movie wanted to copy off of. The beginning was awkward, the mom was insufferable. The fact that the dad was in jail for tax fraud meant nothing to me and it made Charlie's sadness unbelievable. He should have murdered someone or abused the mom or something. His relationship with Susan was abhorrent and, again, completely unbelievable. What was that, love at first sight? Give me a break. Give me some much more interesting characters and maybe I could see it, a bit. But Susan was wholly one-dimensional. Oooh, she's a teenager, she hates her dad, soooo interesting. Charlie had sex with his first kiss? Please. Charlie was trying really really hard to be Max Fischer and if he were Max Fischer, he wouldn't give it up to such an easy person to figure out. The scene with her dad and Charlie and her dad shooting the boat was stupid too. Why they had to showcase the girl's average singing talent, I don't know.

Don't go see this movie.

Pwned.

I wanted to see this thinking it would be like the next ferris buller's day off (legendary cult classic) but now..not so much.

So much potential, so not a good movie. I'm not quite finished watching it yet, but I'm wondering if this could possible be any more cliche. Susan's cigarettes are a nice touch. LOOK HOW ANGSTY I AM!!!!!111!!

Also, what is with all the Degrassi actors?

My friend thought the same.

I really wanted to see this, but after all the reviews above I'm getting discouraged.

I really want to see this. But I may wait until it comes out, because movie tickets are so expensive and there are a ton of other movies I want to see more. So yeah, I'm going to wait.
