So, I'm in a new relationship. It's only been three days, and things are very distant between us. He's isn't very 'boyfriend like.' For instance, we have a few classes together and walk in the same direction when going to those classes, but he doesn't walk with me. We don't talk as much in the classes we have together as we did before we went out. I asked a friend of mine if he's had a girlfriend prior to me at any time, and supposedly he did, but it'd been awhile. So, I don't know. Could it just be that temporary awkwardness that's in the beginning of a relatioship? Or is he just too shy to be more boyfriend-like?

It's only been three days, sweetheart. Don't rush things. Just wait for a few more days and eventually he'll start to warm up to you. Just try to talk to him (without any awkwardness) and try to get him to come out of his shell. I'm sure within a few days or so he'll come out and become more comfortable with you. Just wait. Patience will do you both some good as of right now. He's probably just shy because he's used to being friends and thinks that it's awkward possibly as well. I hope everything works out. :)

yes, don't worry too much.
try to talk to him and find out what's wrong.
Like did something come up?..or i don't know.
but i am also new in a relationship,
it's only been like 6 days and we're still the same
like before we dated, we talk just like how we always
do, even though the first day was kinda weird and awkward
but if you both spend more time talking it'll turn out
just fine.
friendship first, then relationship builds.
=)

My ex boyfriend was the same way. The first couple days were super awkward and sometimes I felt awkward to talk to him too because some of his friends didnt like me too much haha. Just try to make him open up, talk to him and instead of waiting for him to come up to you, you go up to him.

With my current boyfriend (we've been dating for 1 year and 2 weeks)we never really had the awkward thing.
