What's up yall.

Well I dunno if many of you are aware of playstation 3. Not only is it a game console but also a 64Bit Power PC. The problem is, there's limitations that SONY have placed upon their Playstation 3 that Linux users can't breech legally, in a sense.

So devs (developers) have put together a petition to get Linux users and Playstation 3 consumers to sign so they can take off the limitations. Thus giving the consumer more usage out of their PS3. The most important would be modifying the graphix card, the RSX.

In Linux, you can permamently change the performance of hardware if you'd like, thus making them run a lot better than OEM Specs. The GPU is what gamers and linux users are after. They believe the quality of the games would become unbelievably better.

So please sign this petition, at least if you're a hardcore SONY gamer!

Read the petition... you'll get a bit of info as to what we want to access.

:D

I didn't know about it either... I wanted to enter into GPU settings and kinda over clock it. But come to find out... we're not able to. I thought I was doin something wrong the whole time. Finally started asking questions and not im kinda upset. I really see PS3 having some SICK potential. But SONY's scared to let us discover the true power of her processor and video card.
