Do you ever get the sense that the months are changing way too fast? Like, you look at something that's coming up on the last day of February, and that seems forever away...but suddenly it's February 24, and the 29th it coming up so soon. And with years, too. I spent all these years look forward to 2007 for graduation, and it didn't seem like it could get there soon enough, but suddenly it's 2008 and where has the time gone? Then again, it's taken nearly 2 months for it to really occur to me that it's a whole new year, so maybe time isn't flying by so much as that I'm just really behind.

I definitely agree. They do say, that when you get to high school, time really begins to fly by.

Time, for me, has been on a coke binge. The weeks of monotonous work become a complete blur, and since I've been a homebody, I just stay in on the weekends. It felt like yesterday that I was x'ing off days on my calendar when I first got to this unit, and now July is around the corner.

After 8th grade, everything as been going by really quickly.. It was pretty slow before then, but it seems like it's a new month every day. In a way, I like it; but I also hate it, too.

Its funny because when it comes to each day, that day seems to drag on but when I think about school or just the past few months...its crazy to think how fast time goes by...its already the end of February. blink.gif What the eff.

I was thinking about this, too. When i was younger, i remember counting down the days and months until high school, and then suddenly high school arrived and i remember thinking as a freshman, man, i can't wait until graduation day, and when THAT passed i remember thinking, wow, i cant wait for my first couple of semesters of college to be over.

And here we are.

Time does fly.

I felt that way yesterday! Because for work we're coming up with posters, etc for the last week of February (we're doing a little spirit type thing) and next thing you know our managers are like "guys make sure you have those up because it starts next friday" and we're like " what!". I can't believe March is around the corner. I've decided I just need to do my stuff on time because I keep thinking I have a lot of time till the end of the month , but I don't.

Time is simply flying faster every time we think about it. We're almost done with February. In about 3 months, I'll be halfway done with high school. Just as I typed that, I could barely believe it, but it's absolutely true. I think we all get that feeling.

I've also had that feeling. Especially now, when my fresman year in college is nearly over. I'm already starting midterms :O.

I remember sitting in the auditorium as a freshman in high school, listening to the school principal tell us that time will fly by and we'll be college students before we know it.

Now that's all over. I'm not in high school anymore; I'm no longer that naive, overly snarky pain in the ass that I used to be. I'm not only amazed by how quickly the time went, but also at how much I've grown and learned through those years.

Oh it's definitely not just you. Time does fly by fast.

Last night my family and I had some guests over, people we've known since we lived in South Korea which was like thirteen or so years ago. I didn't really remember them because I was just a young kid when we met them, but looking at old pictures and stuff, it just made me realize how fast time flys.

It's crazy!

I agree!

This school year has gone so quick that I'm not even ready for some of the things. It's my junior year in high school and senior year is around the corner. College crap is also there too so it's gonna be such a fun year for me.

Some things during the day go by so slow, but then looking back it seems like time has gone by really fast.

My freshman year of college has just flown by. People already have midterms and I feel like I just got back from winter break like two days ago.

Not enough days in my life to do the stuff I need to do.

I'm on my second round of midterms already. Scary.

What's also scary is that I was a freshman in high school when I joined cB. College still seemed infinitely far away then, and now here I am. Of course, high school seemed to drag on forever, but it's frightening how my internet habits haven't changed since then. Obviously they have in some way, but I don't think there was any way in hell I thought I'd still be posting on here when I was in college.

It's not just you. It's amazing how you'll be looking forward to something for months and then it's suddenly gone without you really realising it.

Sort of like Christmas when you were six.

You're not alone. Time is just soaring.

Like when there's a huge project due in a month, I'll always be like, "damn, we have a fucking month." Two weeks later, it's due.

I definitely think that time is flying way too fast. There are too little hours in the day and when I have something due, I wait till the last minute because I'll be like "oh, there's 4 days, I still have plenty of time." Then I find myself at the end of those 4 days with nothing. :(. I wish there were more hours in the day. One day it's September and school just started, and now there's only a few more months till school's over. D:

Well isnt this an uplifting and happy thread. I was actually, for serious, thinking about this at the beginning of February, about how January had seemed so slow but February would just speed on by. And it did! It's really weird though. It just feels...dhkasdfjh.
