do you write your boyfriend/girlfriend notes? do you expect write-backs?

I don't. Notes are too cutesy (if there is a word) for my taste.

I had a friend who dated this girl I couldn't stand. They creeped me out. And they wrote letters to each other all the time, and it was sickening.

I used to. I was in a long-distance relationship in high school, and I wrote very lengthy letters to him (me in Texas, him in Oklahoma). It helped get through it all, honestly.

edit; Never like quick notes in class that you'd pass around the room, though. :P

I write a ton in like birthday and christmas cards but never like randomly.

One guy at my school wrote his girlfriend this like 2 page super lovey dovey letter and i guess she dropped it on accident in the hall and another kid found it and photocopied them and gave them to everyone.

I felt kinda bad for them.

I do now and then, mostly when I send him things. We're in a long distance relationship, so it's nice to send and receive stuff.

Letters, emails, texts, Msn, Skype, the occasional sneaky post-it on his door.

private xanga entries? in class she would used to write on my xanga before i had study hall. i would read it, then write back on her xanga private entries.
my last relationship she had a diary about just her and me, and kept progress about certain events, what i did for her, etc.
it's good looking back into them.
i uzed to type lik dis. haha

My boyfriend and I do almost every day at school. I'm a senior and he's a junior... so we hardly get to see each other during school. I sneak out of yearbook to go to his lunch, and then we see each other for about 6 or 7 minutes between classes. So writing each other notes holds us over until we can get home and call each other, or be together in person.

I wrote them a couple ... but they were just whims. They never wrote back since both were really vocal about exactly how the felt, all the time. :)

It was nice.

For me, notes are the easiest way to communicate. It gives me time to think about exactly what I want to say. When I had a boyfriend, we wrote each other notes all the time. :]

I write quick "I love you" notes sometimes whenever he has work really late or when he has night classes. I usually stick them under his pillow, coat jacket or places i know he would look :)

He doesn't write back but i wish he did.
It would be different if it was still highschool but, It's still nice to find something once in a while.

I wrote my girlfriend a note the day before we broke up. It read, "Burn in hell and bring those wide legs with you."

Haha, yeah. I write them in class and give it to them when I see them. _smile.gif Even though we go to the same school and have some classes together, I still think its sweet to let them know you're thinking about them.
