so with his win in Hawaii obama picked up his 10th consecutive win. next come the delegate-rich states of ohio and texas. do you think obama is going to keep up his streak or is hillary going to break it and gain these two much needed states for herself?

I hope he gains Texas at least.. as for Ohio it doesn't matter. There's another state though right?... I forget which one it is.

I doubt that they're gonna let Hilary or Obama stay as president if any of them are elected. But if anything, Obama ftw.

Darn.... I was listening to 610AM and they mentioned 3 states. Supposedly if Obama gets 2 out of the 3 states, Hillary is dead (might as well give up). But if Hillary gains Texas, Obama will need Ohio and the other state in order to stay ahead.

Why do you say that?... Obama has pretty damn good merit in his background.

I'm curious as to why you'd think that or come to that conclusion. Sure, Obama is considered somewhat of a "rookie" politician, but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't be a good president or have a healthy stay in office.

Bill Clinton was the same and he didn't too bad at all. I have faith in Obama and I hope he gets the nomination. I don't appreciate Hilary's dirty politics.

Isn't Obama leading in the Texas polls?

Did you guys see what happened last night when Hilary's speech got cut off on TV in favor of Obama. Serves her right. Mwahahaha.

I hate how every time she loses, she barely even acknowledges it and can't even at the very least thank her supporters for coming out and voting for her. She pretends like it never happened.

seriously, i agree. they aren't getting her anywhere, her negative talk hasn't accomplished anything. i'm curious to see if she will abandon that approach in the upcoming states.

she's probably basing it on the fact that clinton has done well with the Hispanic vote so far. the fact that it's already carried her to wins in states like nevada and california. the fact she has 4 of the 6 hispanic congressmen of texas endorsing her and she's made considerably more trips to texas than obama has.

that would be my guess

Obama is definitely on a hot streak right now, but it really doesn't matter at this point because in order to win, both of them would need the super delegate vote. The only way they wouldn't need that, is if one of them goes 70-30 the rest of the way at every primary.

With that being said, I think that people are blowing the Michelle Obama thing out of proportion. She was right and justified in what she said, unlike some of the things the Clinton's have said. People will look for anything these days to try to slow down Obama.

If so, very unfortunate. Many many Texans dislike Hilary. There is also a significant Black population in Texas, particularly the Houston area. I'm aware that there are an assload of Hispanics here, but how many of them do you think have registered to vote? How many do you think will get off their asses to go vote? How many of them do you think are legal?

Oh and Texas & Ohio are important.

Dood I was just listening to 610AM... they're having Texan callers express their opinion and uhm... well majority of the calls are dogging Hilary LOL

The best part is... all these conservatives are flippin out because they used to dog Obama on radio, now they're tryin to get dirt on Obama, and the listeners are callin back to back expressing their welcoming to Obama.

Overall... I'm happy with how things are going.

I really do see great things in Obama. And he's very clever cuz he's not being specific with the changes he's willing to make. Which leads me to believe that he's gonna let the people of America help him decide what changes should be made. Not that I'm sayin he's incompetent to make decisions.

I don't personally like obama, but i'm afraid he is most likely going to win the presidential race, from what i can see so far.

From what i've heard, he wants to initiate certain programs that benefit, ehh a certain race mostly, which is good for them, but it might be at the risk of the other races. I'm not totally sure on this, but if it's true, let's say i won't be his biggest supporter.

I read a few hours ago on the Associated Press that there is a good chance Obama will get Texas. There's a fairly good amount of delegates for Texas and a lot of them are representing the areas where minorities dominate; these minorities supporting Obama.

Well I feel like Obama has a lot more to offer than any of the other candidates. I'm sure Americans learned their lesson (or are scared shitless) of another Republican running the country. It would definitely be a sad day if Obama lost the election.

I just wish computerized voting was banned, that's too vulnerable and can easily be manipulated.

Just because someone is a republican, that doesn't mean they can't run the country. There have been plenty of good presidents who were republicans. It's not their political party as much as it is the individual. As far as I'm concerned, McCain is a democrat.

o.O yeah but McCain already lost in my book. But what does McCain have anything to do with this thread?, just curious.

One thing I'll admit... If Obama wins the election, I expect the black citizens to get there 4 acres and a mule... muahahahahahaha.

This early, i really can't tell which i would side with, but i am leaning towards obama. Furthermore, the GOP base is not even warming up to mccain (of course, i could be wrong) and even though it's still early in the game, this just proves to show how we see our candidates to-date. i know i will get burned for this, but i think mccain is a warmonger. i get the impression that he doesn't care to what happens to our troops in the middle east and the other parts of the world. Can’t we just all get along? i think it is time for a purification; i think it is time for a change; i think it is time for obama time. Now that the candidates are set for the US Presidential Election, Barack Obama and John McCain are beginning to set the tone for their campaign.but they must solve the issue of the soaring oil prices because this is affecting the costs of everything from food to housing market crisis. There are also significant issues on local and global environmental impact. While there are many issues, we need to look at our next leader and determine which will have the best course of action going forward…..I recently watch the two video in Pollclash about this issue, Obama and McCain talk about this…
