Father Figure, Faith, and Freedom '90 are my favorites... And that reminds me... At their concert, DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist ingeniously used a sample from Father Figure in one of their mixes and you won't be able to hear it til the Hard Sell album comes out cuz I can't find it on the internet anywhere but OMG, it's so sick. That Faith remake is catchy, but I'll always prefer the original.
He's actually quite good. I wish more younger types would give him a go. |
