Is it possible to use this tutorial to make my myspace layout into a instant div without having to do 4 hours of coding?

^ That is not possible because coding it in dreamweaver would be completely different from myspace coding.

The best/fastest way to code a myspace layout is to know the tags and use the same template code so that you are familiar to it. That way, you know what hex codes to put, images url, etc.

Coding a myspace layout shouldn't take you 4 hours if you are familiar with the coding.

Like Relentless said, you can't depend on that tutorial because what it's teaching you is how to build a website, NOT a myspace div overlay.

If you'd like to learn how to make a DIV layout, the first step is to hide your profile. Then, read this to learn how to create and customize your div areas. It won't take you hours.

^ We know that. Miyashi and I are trying to say that the coding is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than Myspace coding. Dreamweaver only works for WEBSITE's only.

Website and myspace coding are different. The alignment of div's in dreamweaver would be also different in myspace.

Does that code hide your profile from your friends?

It hides all the default Myspace attributes - so you're left with a completely black page (save for the topmost advert which must remain due to Myspace terms).

Then it is simply a case of following the DIV tutorial and creating an overlay for your now-blank page.
