why would there be a "fake" express? That would be like having a "fake" gap.

Wha o_O?
All I got from your post, was that the actual Express store that you walk in to is fake? And somehow possibly online their prices are more expensive and the "real" thing, as for the store is not? That's absurd. The stores are exactly same, and if you can get stuff from the actual name brand for less then somewhere else then I would more than likely believe that the one for more and non-name brand is the one that is fake. Also I'm pretty sure fake advertising would come in to play if express was non-legit. |

Likewise, and I worked at Express. Oh really? Hey I used to work at Express too, for 6 months. The one I worked at had the highest customer volume regionally (Fashion Valley, San Diego). I kind of miss working there, although I hated selling credit cards. I think out of the 6 months, I only pushed for 2-4 credit cards total. Quite sad, but I didn't care since I was just a regular associate. BTW the guys clothes are SOOOOOO much better than the women's clothes. They just look nicer and fit men better. =_= Anyway, wtf. DUDE, Express has SALES in their stores. The stuff online is usually the regular price, but if you buy more than 1 of the item, you can get those two for cheaper. For example, if you buy 1 graphic tee for $22.50, but if you buy two graphic tees, it's 2/$36.50. You are getting a better deal. The deals are not online. This gues for the 1 MX shirts going on right now. Instead of paying $50, if you buy 3, they are $29.50/each. Same goes for Edward's Pin Stripe. Also, Express only updates their website to say when there's box sales (clearance/red-lined), when they bring in new clothes (i.e. spring line), and sometimes they put up some offers. There are no fake Express stores. Maybe there's a fake express brand circulating around, but I wouldn't know about it since EXPRESS IS INEXPENSIVE ANYWAYS, so it's kind of sad if people are buying knock-offs. |

Why would a brand name store hawk bootlegs of their own stuff in their own store? Most stores list a retail price (company suggested price) online but their instore prices vary depending on promotions. Just because it's cheaper in the store doesn't mean it's fake stuff. I love Express jeans. They have a nice weight to them. But, they are mad expensive and their short is too short and their regular is way too long. |

I spent a god-awful amount of money at Fashion Valley between Express and Ruehl No. 925. You really can't go wrong, as a guy, buy wearing EXPRESS denim or coordinating business casual attire. 1MX shirts are a God-send when you need a decent woven for the evening. |

Um, since when did express start selling stuff online? Ahh, you're right! When the website used to still be owned by The Limited Brand, I don't think it offered clothes online either. It just had prices of the items. Although anything close to "ordering" would be a Free Fashion Delivery, but that would require a person to go to the store in person anyway. BrandonSaunders - Yea I used to work 4-5 days/week with at least 2 closing shifts, but after the holidays, I changed it to 1-2 shifts a week. I loved the 45% days in addition to sales (like 45% off 2/29.50 graphic tees) ![]() |
