What would you do if your parents joined Createblog? How do you think they would act? Who would they get along with?

And the same for your siblings?

I'd seriously ask her if she has anything better to do with her time. As of now, the situation doesn't seem feasible, thank god.

I can't imagine my mom being on CreateBlog, or any forum for that matter. She's not into computers and the Internet. So it would be pretty strange. I would probably be like, "Uh..." and keep posting, but just feel awkward.

As for my brother, he's almost 12 but still also not the foruming type. I wouldn't mind having him here as much as I would my mom, though.

Well the rection I got when my mom discovered I was on cB in high school was very bad. OMG PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW!!!! She doesn't use the internet enough for it to even be a feasible idea.

But my sister...oh my god. I guess she's the same age as a lot of the younger members, but I would freak out. She's really immature. She'd type like a n00b, condemn everyone to hell in the locker rooms/relationships, and it would be fun times for no one.

My parents don't even know how to type in English, so this factor isn't possible, but if they DID know how, I would probably quit, because it would seem awkward, and I wouldn't want to say anything that would anger them and make them distrust me. x__x;; Both of my sisters are rarely on the computer, and they hate going on forums. lol, but if they joined, they'd probably be bitches.

my older brother would probably resemble mipadi.
my parents would probably preach abstinence all the time.
my sister would just talk smack, haha.

i wouldn't mind my older brother being on here, but my parents don't always understand that their ethics aren't universal, persay. my sister... we'd probably have to suspend. :P

I can't see anyone in my family doing it...Everyone thought it was weird that I came on here. "You don't even KNOW these people!" But yeah. Especially not my mom or my sister, then can barely turn the computer on without having issues.

My brother I wouldn't care. It'd be kind of cool actually. He'd just post a bunch of hip hop topics in the music thread or something.

I would DEFINTAELY quite if my mom joined. She'd yell at me for giving out too much information when I barely have anything on the log page.

My dad I'd just be shocked then I'd really watch what I'd be typing. He's cool, but not that cool.

I doubt my mom would ever join cB considering she's not really...into forums and such. Although if she did, oh man. That'd be very awkward and I'd probably quit, or become a secret cber.

My sister? Nah. She barely gets on the computer, really.
Even she does get on, she's only on myspace. tongue.gif

As for my parents, yea, I'd change my username.

Oh jesus christ, I would flip if even anyone I knew IRL joined CB. I don't think I could handle it.

Brandon once made an account here a long time ago. I found out (pretty much immediately) and sent him a message telling him never to login again. I felt bad about it afterwards, because he was just trying to be friendly, but I dunno, for some reason I freaked out when he tried to join.

Someone a few years ago complimented me on a layout I made here. That freaked me out rather a lot. Another time a friend had googled something and come across one of my posts, which made me really uncomfortable. A few people from my school posted some, some of whom I knew. That was pretty weird to me. The ones I didn't know offline, like Julia, felt a little odd, but not quite as much.

I told James to join, more or less, but that was different because our offline interaction is so limited.

I like to keep my online "life" and my real life sufficiently separate. I end up agonizing over whether to add friends on last.fm because I post there, and it would freak me out if I knew what I was being read by people I really know.

Eh, some of my friends saw an old layout I submitted a few years ago and it had my face on the screenshot and they were like "OMG YOU'RE FAMOUS!11111" mellow.gif Yeah, I know a lot of people who get their layouts from here.

There are also a few people from my school registered here. I've found about 3 and there was some other girl who was the daughter of this teacher I had. It kinda creeps me out.

Dude I would probably freak out laugh.gif But the chances are very slim, my mum is completely anti-internet and revealing absolutely anything, even first name mellow.gif Dad's cool with it, doubt he'd consider joining a forum though, thank goodness. My younger brother, 16, would do hit and runs. Very smart but also very insensitive. More so than myself. For instance, in the WoW forums, he made a post called "I hate nigs" and talked about how much he hated "nigs". Granted he's nothing like this in real life, he just likes getting a reaction out of people online, too.

My youngest would probably be friendly to most everyone, and spend time trying to become popular. Also, he's fat (irrelevant but just thought y'all should know).

My dad would probably enjoy the debate section, and would spend time arguing with people like Nate in civilized manners, while my mom would spend time in the technology forum trying to learn things (she's technologically illiterate). They would both spend time in the News section or in political threads as they've very opinionated (not in a bad way) and both very conservative.
