^why? i look at it as them giving in to the fact they don't have a chance in hell and nobody really cars about them that much.

i doubt someone will come alone and put him back in the race without his consent, so no, it's not.

Agreed. I mean do you have any idea how expensive it is to run a campaign? Lot's of millions of dollars go into it, and if you know you have no chance, why waste the time and effort?

What's interesting is the candidates like Kucinich who know they have no chance at winning the nomination, yet run anyway. I think it's even more interesting to notice when they quit. Gravel, for example, still hasn't. Kucinich did because he needs to get reelected for his own office, but he stayed in longer than he said he would, since he didn't quit after (expectedly) poor showings in Iowa and New Hampshire. But that seems like it'd be soon to quit too, since they're obviously running for a reason, even if winning isn't necessarily it...

I'd really rather have Edwards in for the last debate before Super Tuesday, though. I mean, I probably will forget to watch (I have no idea when it is, actually), but his presence would sort of ease the tension, which would be nice for those who will watch.

^ dropping like flies.

Guiliani, I'm glad dropped out. He was an okay mayor with really good peaks and veryyyy bad lows. Running NYC is a lot different than America.

Edwards, I'm not surprised and I wish him the best. His wife's cancer came back and when he first found out, he was really close to quitting. Now, I guess that he sees he's not that strong in the campaign and thinks it's a good time to go spend time with his wife.

Yeah. At first, I thought it was Stage 4, but if it was, he would've quit a lot sooner.

Apparently, he could already predict the outcome, so he thought it would make no sense trying. blink.gif I think he's going to endorse... Clinton, I think.

Clinton is a dumb bitch. Obama overuses the race card, and is a poor sport (see him turning his back when Clinton shakes Kennedy's hand). McCain is a RINO who may not be the war hero he's hyped up to be (not like he got THREE PURPLE HEARTS or anything for self injury). I LOVE OUR CANDIDATES THIS ELECTION!

Steven, just put us all out of our misery and run for office yourself. You're a Texan, Texans seems to have good odds at winning.

I think Edwards will back Obama. I would be surprised if he didn't. He has always seemed to me to be a little too nice to be running for the office. It is almost as if he is too polished and is pre-scripted.

That's all I got from google. Someone told me that from whatever he was watching. I guess we'll see whether he and this article know what they're talking about.

Okay, just kidding. I was skeptical, but I had a moment of gullibility, since I had that one source to confirm the lie. But there's no evidence anywhere else, so that was definitely just complete bullshit.

Oh. I was about to defend myself for posting what was probably wrong about Edwards. Her post was so insignificant that I forgot she'd said anything immediately after moving on to the next post.

With Edwards out of the race do you think whoever wins the democratic presidential nomination (Obama or Clinton) will choose Edwards as their VP?
