He knows what he is giving me. A practical one and fun things from spencers. haha

I am giving John an altered state of mind. Or at least trying to track down something that will give him an altered state of mind.

I don't even think we will get to spend Valentines day together :(

I'm not expecting anything as a guy, but hey, it would be nice.
For me, buying flowers and a nice dinner will be enough.

What the hell is a valentine? huh.gif

I've never really had one. This time of year, in years passed, is always rough on relationships; traveling, long distance, break-ups, basketball tournaments, father leaving the family, etc.

I usually give the significant other a heartfelt card. throb.gif Oh, and the chocolate as well. I'll usually add something sentimental or materialistic. :) Or if they've been talking about how they've wanted something, I'll try my best to get it.

You can't go wrong with EB games giftcards.

we're probably going to go get dinner + gelato! then stay home and just spend time together. i kind of want to go get balloons and make animals with them, haha.

for what i'm giving him, i haven't really decided. i don't want to overdo anything and it's rare enough that we can just sit around.

the whole point of Valentines is to show the people/person you love them
my mates and i are spending Valentines morning with our family, and then we're gonna take our gfs to a little island off the coast (Rottnest) for a couple of days after Valentines laugh.gif
i'd like to say it was my idea...but it wasnt mellow.gif
hey....im still new to the whole gf thing

I think we're doing a two day thing.
Movie on valentines and a nice dinner friday.
(step up 2 XD)

I really want to make him chocolate but..
that's probably too much to do though ;~;
I'll probably end up buying chocolate and making a lame card?
or end up at spencer's hahaha.

Also lots of sex. but that's a given.

i'm anti-valetine's! i wear black and i refuse to buy anything pink or red. we just celebrate a poet instead haha. but i say a good gift would be ANYTHING that isn't sold at the store's only during valentine's like a pink gorilla holding a heart. find something original =) something you would give to them even if it wasn't valentine's.

Go to the movie theater, and find a white girl that looks lonely. Then say, "can I have yo' number?" Be persistent.

Good plan.
I'll just say, "Um ex'kuse me, but the back of yo head is ridiculous"
This may just work.

Lol, oh jeez.

Well, I bought him something earlier and it was for no reason so my excuse was V-day. tongue.gif So that was his new snowboarding jacket, and then I got him a funny card, and a really sweet card. _smile.gif And then just being with him and whatnot.

i'm doing something pretty detailed.
on wednesday, before we go to the rockapella concert [the group that was in where in the world is carmen sandiego] i'm gonna surprise him with a full-course dinner that i made.
and we're gonna watch treasure planet, his favorite animated movie

and then on thursday, valentines day
i'm gonna serenade him [i'm in choir and we serenade people], and then at 2:45 he's gonna open his locker and origami hearts are gonna spill out.
and then i'm gonna give him this star jar with 245 stars, because that's how many days we'll be together on valentines day.

and maybe i'll make cupcakes for him too. we'll see.

I'm giving my valentine my love only because it's the greatest thing I can give...and because I'm broke as hell.

Ha no I'm not I'm going to give him Legos. He's always saying I don't listen to what he says and he's always talking about how he didn't have Legos as kid, but his parents would never buy them. So yeah, I'm getting him Legos to show him I listen to everything he says.

I just want flowers for V-day so I can show something off. I hate when everyone gets flowers and I'm empty handed year after year. I keep looking at the flowers on 1-800-flowers.com and hoping some magically appear at my door next week. Maybe I have a secret admirer.

What are you making the stars out of? I was thinking of doing something similar...on valentines day it'll be 362 days. But I was thinking of doing it for our one year with some item, I just don't know what.

Anyway. So far I'm getting the boyfriend a card and a ton of candy. Probably something else with more meaning too.

well our year anniversary is on feb 11th && his 21st bday is on feb 23rd. sooo..this weekend we're staying in a hotel by the bay [i live in san francisco] && he made "surprise plans" for sunday. then on monday we're getting couples massages together, going to the beach && i made reservations at a nice restaurant for us. then the weekend of his bday we're going to reno for the weekend ")

he was also gone from sept 9th until this past saturday, so i painted this box black [a shoe-box sized box] && cut out black stars of all different shapes out of black poster board. on one side i wrote down a date [jan 1, jan 2..etc] from sept 9 to the day he came back && on the other side i wrote a word or phrase that is significant to that day. i then decorated the stars with glitter && what not. on the outside of the box im going to write something about how i was so bored while he was gone that i picked a star out of the sky for every day he was gone..yada yada yada. im obviously going to word it differently, but yeah..im giving him that on monday as well.

^I am giving my sweetie dirty coupons. rolleyes.gif Haha.
Along with a stuffed animal puppy holding a heart that says "Love" on it, Dove dark chocolate raspberry flavored caramel chocolates (his favorites), and I'm making him a big card that shaped like a bumblebee and it says "Will you bee my Valentine?" on the front. I'm still working on the inside of the card.

Not too special I guess, but I'm trying. sweating.gif
