I'd like to see this world if we took out all of the caution labels and just let people do their own thang.

I had a teacher in 8th grade who explained things such as why he would consider things such as mandatory seat belt laws to be unconstitutional. He also told stories about when he used to drive taxis. I miss him, he was pretty cool. But alas, I was told he got fired a year or two ago for stamping on the flag to demonstrate something; the 6th graders he was teaching then were not mature enough to understand and not tell the wrong people. I don't doubt that my sister in middle school would have freaked. I guess it was only a matter of time, though.

I also know a girl who got in an accident a couple of years ago because 6 of them tried to get into a car that seated 5 with a driver who wasn't past her 6 months yet (period when you can't drive unrelated passengers). She's still blaming her injuries on the way they double buckled, when in fact they were better off that way than unbuckled...but still pretty f**king stupid, especially as everyone else in the car could probably drive more legally.

I like anecdotes whether anyone reads and responds or not.
