Hi createBlog,

Today was a very sad day indeed, as I am the only person I know who's back in the dorms and thus very much alone and lonely and by myself and ... alone.

I don't know what to do with myself.

I spent half the day hanging out the eighth floor lounge window and breathing in the [somewhat] fresh smell of Broadway and taking in the sunny sunlight.

Then I spent the second half of the day purposefully trying to get myself lost in the subway.

And then I spent the third half [yeah, shutup] of the day talking to you, createBlog, and waiting for you to talk back.

So, createBlog, have you ever had a non-productive day like this?

Love and sincerity and best wishes and kisses and cuddles,
me

\Haha wow. I remember there were a few weekends last year when I was a freshman in the dorms, where I was the only one who stayed back for the weekend, and everyone went back home. It's very lonely indeed, and yes I had tons of non-productive days. I usually take a nap to have the days go by faster, or call someone up. Or I be doing homework, or play an online game to keep myself occupy.

Hm, games sound fun...

There's a Playstation 3 in our lounge... and guitar hero... and nobody's watching...

i have those days too. but what i hate is going to be so late because i spent so much time on the computer. i mean, i can waste a whole day just sitting here making layouts, surfing the net for ideas, making comments here and there. it can really take you away from your world and have you forget that you have responsibilities. man, i miss my husband sad.gif

I was going to say the same thing laugh.gif
I often aimlessly wonder around the streets that go off the main road where I live. Because I have absolutely nothing better to do.

I fill my non-productive days up with the joys and delights of Photoshop. They usually become pretty productive then.

TBH, I think I do my best work when I'm ill and feeling a bit crappy.

When I'm not working, my days are usually non-productive. I just end up watching TV most of the time.

YES!

I hate those days. I get desperate for companionship. I usually try to learn about serial killers or plan tattoos.

Lately though, I have made a new friend that likes to waste time just like I do biggrin.gif

Oh yes. Today was pretty unproductive actually. I always feel guilty afterwards because I know there are chores I could be doing, but I'm far too lazy to drag my ass upstairs. >___< I feel your pain.

I actually asked myself that.
The thing is, if you're trying not to spend money and there's nobody around to hang out in the city with you... there's not that much to do. I guess I can go to a museum since it's free for me... hm. I didn't think of that.

Work on your uprock, and when you're confident enough with your own rhythm, do it on the side of the street for money.

Or, you can go watch Style Wars, get some inspiration, develop an handstyle, then go "writing" on the walls of New York.
