Been on a grunge-ish binge thing. What do you think?

I absolutely love it! The colors go so well. I love the curved text too. Nice work! I don't know if its just me, but the image seems kinda low quality. But other than that, amazing job!

^ I think she's talking about the image of Ayumi.

Anyways, here's my opinion on this piece:

I as well love the curved text. Very eye catching. I like the splatters on top of the word "ASIAN." Kind of a stupid question if you ask, but why is it called "Asian?" Is it just because Ayumi is Asian? mellow.gif Overall, I like this piece. Good job.

Huh... I'm failing to see the low qualitiness... maybe it's me eyes pinch.gif

Anyway, yeah, it's Japanese themed... and I just felt like titling that. Didn't really think about it much.

It goes with my current design theme - I made a wallpaper with smiliar style entitled "URBAN" because it was made in a more urban street style, and entitled this one "ASIAN" because it was made in a more asian style.

I love it. The colors work very well together, and she blends
right in, but in a good way.

10/10

She already answered that question, scroll up and READ.

I think its cute how all the asians are getting upset at you calling it "Asian". You did another image titled "Urban" featuring a black man. No one seemed to have a problem with that.
To be honest, everytime I see a image labeled "kawaii or Japanese or Asian" in it its almost always done by an asian. So why is it a big deal when a person of another race does it?

I don't think anyone is upset you f**ktard. There's a huge difference with Urban, and Asian. Ofcourse, if it said "AFRICAN AMERICAN" then yeah, no f**king shit, people would be like "WHY THE HELL DOES IT SAY AFRICAN AMERICAN" Pretty much the same logic of me asking why it was titled asian.

Otherwise, I'll just reply to the graphic since I didn't do so before.
I really like the way you did the text. I don't really think the texture on the upper right really works. It's just out of place and thrown in imo. I would've liked to see more contrast in this, like... more of a brighter red. Otherwise, this piece is pretty decent.

@ mandilynne: Peter [Drifted] just probably thought that "ASIAN" didn't suit the piece - it's not cause he's Asian himself.

But Rachael, I really like the colors and brushes you used. Makes me get into liking red again. XD The waving text is what caught my eye first. Was it made in PS or PSP?

Er... thanks everybody...
Let's not forget that "Asian" is an adjective and is being used as such in this piece to distuingish a style. I'm not calling out a race. Honestly, I don't know why people would get offended. It's not like I portrayed someone in a wrongful fashion... I'm just distinguishing art styles.

As far as what I created it in, PSCS3 and Illustrator.
