You needed twenty-six layers to basically make a desaturated version of the original image?

^ It's not the Original IMAGE, its the Original version (that she made, different filters/etc). And she made a b&w version too.
Or atleast thats what I interpreted from her posts. Looks... interesting. If thats your style, but personally, I think the filters are a wee bit overdone. My advice would be to keep practicing, look up some different photoshop tutorials for different techniques, and mess with those a bit.

Honestly, my opinion, nothing special that particularly sticks out. Original image and Black and White image doesn't really resemble a difference in each other, just that one is colored and one is not. I honestly can't believe that there are 26+ layers on this image... it looks like you just used 2-3 filters and called it quits. I guess it's decent for just "messing around."

Hm, should have posted that instead of labeling the other image "Original image." I'm pretty sure other people got confused as well.
Anyways, what's the use of putting on tons of layers extremely transparent if they're unable to be seen? What's the use of having the layers in the first place?  Shitty image quality btw. |

Seems like you just desaturated it and called it artwork. I would suggest cutting it out and messing with it more (because I like the image, tee hee).
