I don't really care. Guys are more laid back and not paranoid and panicky as some girls are. But then girls are just more comfortable around girls and you don't have to worry about mixing the dating world with friends world with girls. Guys would make the chances of the mixing higher, causing a lot of chaos.

But in the end, it's better to just stay by yourself. :]

I consider a geek to be a person who has an abnormal obsession with technology/gadgets and is enthusiastic about how those things work. Geeks are funny as hell, though.

I prefer men. Absolutely, hands down, guys make better friends.
Girls are evil. They pretend to be your friend and talk shit behind your back. Maybe it's just me, though, I have always found it really hard to make girl friends because they end up hurting me or the guy I met them through. I don't like shady people period, so if you f**k my friend over I am going to assume you will do it to me as well.

The same goes for guys, but I guess I am really lucky in the fact that all my guy friends are real gentlemen when they want to be. Not one of my male friends has EVER cheated on a girl or treated her any less than a princess. I love all my guy friends SO much. It's like having a ton of older brothers that are always looking out for me.

The only friend of mine I have dated is my fiance, and that didn't f**k anything up because we are still together and, more importantly, still best friends. I don't have a problem with any of my other guy friends because, even if they do have a thing for me, they would never act on it or try to get between John and I. I guess I am really lucky.

I prefer women, not girls, WOMEN. I believe that a woman can offer more than a girl can. Women seem to be about their business, and understand that life is fun, but also serious at times. They understand that drama should be left at the door, and that you must act your age. Don't get me wrong, there are some women who act childish and petty, and there are some girls who act like women, but I just prefer a woman over a girl.

In the end I'd choose my girl friends over my guy ones. Girls who are truly sincerely your friend are a great outlet. With you guys you really don't get the same thing until they mature a bit more.

Gah, I vote guys. Maybe it's because I'm attracted to females, but I honestly think that girls are just too much trouble most of the time. A guy might "get it" less, but at least they don't play stupid games or lie all the time. They'll give it to your straight.

Oh, and don't believe the liiies: Just because a guy is gay doesn't mean he's some angel who's ready to be your best friend. The only one I've ever been close with ended up sluttier and just out right girlier than most of the chicks I know. (lmao, I'm not stereotyping here, just speaking from personal experience.)

I haven't had very many guy friends, and the one I was best friends with is the aforementioned (by endlesslyshesaid) one. So I don't really have much knowledge of the girls vs. guys thing.

I do, however, seem to be friends with mostly gay people... How that happened I'm not sure, but I have a grand total of 3 straight friends.
