haha.
it's so middle school but basically, i go to a really big high school with over 4000 students and there's only one guy at the school i find to be cute or whatever. he's in my grade and everything and i see him between classes and all that. but i don't know people he hangs out with and vice versa. do you guys think i should just go up to him and talk to him or what ? & i look really confident but i'm not . i'm just weirded out by what he would say or something. |

Hm.. maybe you can go up to him and ask him a question like.. "what time is it?" and then say thanks, what's your name i haven't seen you around before and hopefully it would lead to a friedly conversation.
If he's using a computer at the library, use the one next to him and make some small talk. something like that. |

Haha, funny. I'm only interested in one guy at my huge school, too. Anyways, just go up to him and make small talk. It's not that hard.. Being from different groups of friends just makes it more interesting.

Yuck. I hate small-talk because it's awkward and it never goes anywhere. I guess it might work the first time as an introduction, but don't keep it up. Do you know his activities, or anything? It's really much better if you find a reason to talk to him. If he's in any clubs, sports, etc.

I think you should start slowly, by giving him a smile everytime you guys past by. Next step is to then start saying Hello, and stuff. After you do that for like one week, finally come up to him, and introduce yourself. The process might be slow, but it's more smooth, and the transition from stranger to getting to know him, will be much easier and better.

No, impossible. It's not right for you, a girl, to grow balls. *kicks*
Okay, so if you can't just go up, why not take a friend with you? I always do this when I meet people at school because I'm kind of a pussy myself, but things don't get weird if I have at least one friend around. |

That's a good idea, a smile from a stranger usually means something.. and he should get the idea. Since he's around friends a lot, ask him a question like the one i mentioned earlier and ask for his name, then say thanks. He should get the idea from this too. |

you said he's in your grade yeah? so there's probably some sort of activity, class, subject that both of you are involved in. if there is, then use that opportunity to talk. if he's a nice guy, he won't bite.

finding a way to being a relationship out of nowhere is always the hardest.
& thats why i have no advice to give based on experience. I'm only good at beginning friendships with girls. ![]() |

^ well in my mind, i'm thinking that the more apprehensive you are of this guy, the worst it's gonna turn out. Try to relax. Believe in yourself. If it doesn't work, well nobody guaranteed it.

what grade are you in? As wierd as it sounds just go up to him and ask him for his name or "pretend" like his name is something else.He will feel confused and you wont be nervous and next time you see say hi a couple times with the fake name and boom. And if hes too pussy to say anything back after the first couple times then.. you can wait till college.
