I made a new pre-made layout for my site and it's my first time working with javascript...or second time >.> But I'm noob.

Well just wanted to know what you guys think of it.

When you open it the navigation is all opened because it's suppose to, just click on the About or Links or Credits and the rest will contract.

And there is no scrollbar in the content section because I used Javascript.

Here is it >>>> Sad Melody

Comments or critiques are greatly appreciated!

The layout isn't my style, but I guess it's okay. It's far too gloomy and monochromatic. If you added perhaps a little bit more color to give it some life, it still wouldn't lose its essence. Javascript scrolling has always annoyed me because I like having more control over the content I read, and not treat it as if it's some music player.

for the navigation put
CODE
<style type="text/css">
overflow:auto;
</style>

because the text is flowing out of the box. but other than that i like it and i really like your favicon.

p.s. i use zxq.net aswell biggrin.gif

Lol the navigation I used Javascript for it too.

It's suppose to do that, but if you click on the headers it'll contract.

It's an expand/contract navigation.

I would but thing is, I'm not very talented with html or javascript and I'm afraid that I'll mess up the coding if I played around with it.

I'll get to it though, cause I got the script from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/

This is cute, but it's a bit too dark for my liking :P The javascript scrolling is pretty neat.
