Pretend you really really liked this guy/girl and everything about them suited your needs. Except they had an std/sti. It could be herpes, warts. Both could be genital. Anything. or even HIV. would you get with them when you know that it would be a really good relationship except for the std thing?
For me, I don't know if i would..me coming from an asian family the gossip and their assumptions and judgements from my aunts/uncles/mostly anyone asian and good freinds with my family would be enought to kill me But i couldn't stand being far away from my parents..

you knwo i always thought about that.

but i guess ill never really know until it happens to me.

i know my current bf said that if something like that were to happen, he would still want to be with me.

i mean thats what condoms are for right, not just to prevent pregnancy

I know from personal experiance that if a person is willing to commit to the relationship, then no, you shouldn't let it get in the way. Sex is only on fragment of a relationship, and you don't neccessarily need it to have a good relationship (although some people do). You have to figure out what is important to you: personality or the STD. Besides, there are always condoms. I think you should give this person a try.

Yeah, I'd do it for my fiance. We would always have to be really careful so that I could stay STD free, but being in love is worth that risk. In my opinion.

Absolutely, Missfits. Not that sex is a problem seeing as we're 'after marriage' types. tongue.gif
