Plan B? Options

Hello everyone, My Bf and I had sex and the condom broke, he ejacualted on me but doesn't know if a little was left inside of me or not. I quickly rinced the inside and of my vagina with warm water and shop and within an hour took plan B. Now i am a week late on my period, has anyone experience this before ?, I am freaking out because I don't want a kid now. I am still in college.

havent experienced this ever.
but you really should consider calming down. everytime i stress out my period comes late late late. and this is no doubt very stressful.
it is very unlikely for a pregnency to occur though.

If you're having sex, you should really be on birth control. I'm not trying to be preachy, but not only will it provide an extra measure of protection for you, it'll also keep you regular so you know more definitely if just late because you're late or if you're late because of something you need to be more concerned about. I'm not sure what effect the morning after pill should be having on your period, though.

Well I am not sexually active tough, i only see him 3 times a month and birth control pills are usually taken by people who are sexually active.

sexually active doesnt mean having sex a lot. it just means you have sex. when a doctor asks if you're sexually active; you would say yes.


anyway you're probably just late because you're stressing yourself out. plan b has a pretty high success rate.

Yeah, Trish (sweetasphyxia) is right. But regardless, you don't have to be sexually active or "sexually active" to be on the pill; there are really more advantages to being on it than not.

yeah some girls take plan b without being sexually active at all. total virgins. it helps make you more regular and also clears up your skin.

what about the month you are supposed to get it?...because i usually get it around the 23-25th and today is the 3rd and 8 days have passed which i am late...and i took the pill on the 22nd.

I took it after my period in January or something like that and got my period in February a week late.
