Just wondering... how old is too old or too young for you?
I'm 21, my boyfriend is 28. My friend is 21, her fiance is 35 and they have a child together. Do you have a age range limit? Personally, I think that in some cases when you reach a certain age, the age of the person your dating just depends on where your minds are. I just want to know what everyone thinks. |

My age range is usually two years older or two years younger than my own age. There can be some exceptions but that's my personal rule of thumb. And yes, attitude and maturity level are taken into consideration, as you've stated already.

I used to have an age limit until I dated my boyfriend who's five years older than I am, and he's 25. Life takes you by surprise that way. Age doesn't matter the older you get. I don't think it's necessarily something "good" to date someone who's seven years older than you are when you're 14.

 it's not just when you reach a certain age that maturity matters. your maturity matching or being comparable to your partner's maturity is always important, at least in a relationship. for dating... i'd get pretty sick of dating someone if he acted like a ten-year-old all the time. i'm sixteen, and i've been "open" to the concept of dating someone who's twenty-four. we had a date set until our higher manager threatened to fire him, so that kind of plummeted to the ground... |

How old is too old? Over 10 years older than me.
How young is too young? Anything younger than me. But that just me now. If thing's change or I meet someone that doesn't fit those categories things can always change. |

I don't think it really matters.
I'm dating a guy 2 years younger than me [ not much age difference ]. My friend is 18 and she is dating a 24 year old. My grandparents had an 11 year age difference. If you're happy and comfortable with the person you're with, then why should the age matter, ya know. Just like Aaliyah said, "Age ain't nothing but a number". |

I don't like dating women under the age of 22 because of the pattern on behavior demonstrated by women I've dated in the past. I won't date a woman over 30, because I don't want to be rushed into the idea of marriage. Then there's also a need to assess things on an individual basis.

My oldest was almost 30yrs older than. It didn't really bother me. I was trying to get a "Sugar Daddy".
 And my A-Hole ex husband was 8 yrs older than me.

Uh, I definitely know I wouldn't go younger, especially at this point. The thought of dating a 13 year old boy is uhh.. frightening to me.

Never thought id go out with a guy younger than me again untill i saw my best mates ex boyfriends twin again. id liked him for about a year but thought nothing of it, hes 1yr and 4months younger than me, now were together its doing good.
Age is just a number tbh. |
