Questions about the microSD card & LG Voyager, help, please(: Options

so bare with my stupid, newbie questions about the MicroSD card....
AND yes, im planning to the LG Voyager from Verizon in Jan 08 and i see that it has a microSD card slot and im new to the whole SD card area so hopefully you guys can help me...

so when i buy the card, could i put my itunes music onto that card or not? so that way i can play it on my voyager? and i could also put pictures on to the card also?

im planning to buy the microSD card from costco: MicroSD Card from Costco
and i was wondering what the adapter in that picture is for?

hopefully someone can clear this up for me, thanks to those who reply/help out

yeah, you'll be able to put music into your micro sd card; the lg voyager plays MP3, WMA, AAC, & AAC+ music files only though

as for itunes music, if you bought it from itunes, most likely not
unless you some how find a way to strip the drm from the music files..

the adapter in the picture is a Mini sd adapter
Micro SD is the smallest -> Mini SD is the medium sized one -> SD is the larger, regular more common one

and 30 dollars for a 2 gig micro sd is a ripoff. you can find a 2 gig micro sd for around 20 - 25 dollars.

Don't think about buying one until you're sure it doesn't come with the phone. I have an LG Fusic, and the MicroSD card and adapter (the size of a normal SD card, so that you can put it into the appropriate spot in a computer) came with it. You definitely can't put itunes music on there; I haven't played around with mine a whole lot, but I don't really think you can put that stuff on there at all. Pretty much all it's good for is putting the pictures from your phone onto your computer.
