What? Why is your layout one color and the background a different color in a lighter shade? That bugs me.

I guess since you didn't make the image I can't really say anything about that
 So you made the links in the corner and a div box. Um, good job on that. I don't really care for the light background.

i see. i like it. although the edge of the image fading with the background would've been nicer. i actually have no problem with the font. the whole concept is simplicity, right? everything fits that.

To me, the text at the extreme top left looks odd where it is. And I agree about a slightly wider range of colors for the whole layout.
