Am I blind or does it not exist?
Has anyone taken the time to do an A - Z photos only thread of all members that want their photos up? It might be an idea to have a full comprehensive pinned topic like this. |

i think i could be misunderstanding your idea, but are you suggesting a sort of directory with every member's picture up with their consent?
because that would be one longass post. also, some people get tired of their profile pictures pretty easily... so once they become dissatisfied with the picture on the thread, they'll want to replace it won't they? it just sounds like it could be a hassle for the mods. could you clarify what you were thinking a bit more? edit; perhaps it would be simpler for you if members who wanted to be included could just pm you links so you wouldn't have to chase after them. |

Mmm, but then my inbox would cry out in pain  Maybe everyone should leave a comment in this thread if they want to be added. Ahmm, the rules being no changing photos (so be sure it's the one you want) for at least 6 months per user. Maybe every 12 we could have an overhaul or something. It needn't be complicated; just an idea to have everyone's photos in one place. |

a couple questions to consider -
does the lounge really need a new pinned topic? or the introductions segment of the forums, wherever you're thinking of putting it. too many pinned topics = people overlooking them. what's wrong with only having the member photos thread? if people are so eager to find out who someone looks like, they do have cbprofiles to look off of as well. maybe it'll encourage people to look through that thread more often and get to know more people somehow. what purpose does this serve? what problems could come out of it? i don't see many besides people making smart comments about members' appearances and others complaining about how they lobbed fourteen inches off their mane and dyed it. i'm neutral to the idea so far. |

I think you're thinking too much. Methinks.
The topic would be pinned in Pictures (where the current Members' Photos is) and is simply there as a reference to all these previous picture threads which noone can every be bothered to scroll through. And as the topic will be pinned and closed, it just allows for a nice clean and simple reference. Kinda like the Ultimate Members' Photos. |

i do think too much.
 i do think that it would be neat to have a thread that lists links to members photos v1-now (assuming they all still exist, which they might not)... which kind of brings to the front of my mind, cb's wiki. oh gosh. |

I think it sounds to complicated to actually make and almost a waste of time. I think what could work for this is if people want to post their picture they can post in the member contact info in the lounge and you can add a picture to the bottom of it if they would like? It would kind of eliminate having to create another pinned topic too.
Perhaps have a strict dimensions of the images so the topic doesn't get huge or stretched out. |

Yep, but if people want to post it on the forums as Sarah is suggesting then I would suggest that.
But yes, you have your own photo album on your sub profile. Maybe in that member contact info we should make their names into links to their profiles  Uh moved to feedback

Hm, I get the idea, but I just don't think it's something we really need. If this was brought up before people had actual profiles on here I'd be all for it. We could just give people the option the put up their picture in their contact information in the Members thread in the Lounge... kinda like how mods post their pictures in their introductions.
