or whatever they're called. i got a pair of socks that go up to my thighs that say ho ho ho and they're all christmas-y and i want to wear them next friday which is the day before winter break, but what do i wear them with?

A skirt would be one of the only things people would be able to seem them with. But considering the weather it may be too cold for that.

I'd say... a short skirt, and balance it with a baggy sweater on top. It's a tricky thing to do without looking slutty though
