DO NOT TRUST MAPQUEST!!!
my best friend picked up me today at 5AM cuz he had to take his final down in philly. since he had never driven down there before without his parents, he decided to pritn out directions jsut incase... well it turns out, mapquest made up a few street names and we got lost. not only were we lost but alter realized, it took us around teh whole philly just to get to temple. how gay! so anyway, have any of you guys ever had a bad experience with online directions?? |

What's a better place for directions?
I've had some weird experiences with GPSs though. |

Investing an a GPS would be the same--except for the fact that it could recalculate her route.
Maps aren't updated daily. For GPS devices maybe once or twice a year. The same may be for google maps or map quest. |

Oh, well you have to download the map updates and most likely have to pay for the new map. Also, frequently could mean 2 to 4 times a year--which seems like more than enough to me.

I've had a few mixups with Map quest too. But those were my fault because I clicked the link where it says something like "we have something similar at this location". Note to self never do that again.

I don't know how to use mapquest correctly. I always have someone in the care that know where they're going. Mapquest works fine for my aunt though.

LOL, you're just now figuring that out?
I use Google maps. I like it better. Plus you can alter the route just by clicking and dragging and part of the route. It's pretty nifty. |

I thought it was common knowledge to not trust mapquest.
My mother always trusted them and we got lost some place following those directions. Google maps is good from time to time although some times their directions aren't very clear. Anyway, I have a GPS for my laptop. Of course I have no clue where the actual gps thing is, I can still make directions with the microsoft program. It tells me how long it will take and it knows all the construction areas to avoid them. Also shows all the restaurants and that kind of stuff. Pretty nice. |

Guys don't ask for directions. They make up their own. Googlemap > mapquest. But GPS > googlemap. I used mapquest to get to one of my friends houses (2 hours away) and we were so close, well I had been there before, I just couldn't remember how to get to her house from a certain point. Well, we were driving, and I was like "I think we were suppose to turn back there, but mapquest says otherwise...." So we drove a bit farther, I ended up calling her, and we had to turn around. |

^haha they do. I always have to yell at guys to stop at a gas station to get directions. Although I've learned to just watch very closely on what ways we take so I remember how to drive back >_>

Guys always get lost, refuse to admit that they're lost, and refuse to ask for directions. Ensue frustration and head-banging on the steering wheel.
Girls will ask for directions, try to listen attentively, but end up getting lost because they make things more complicated than they should be. Ensue frustration and head-banging on the steering wheel. |

I hate mapquest. I always use google maps now and I haven't gotten lost yet.
I was trying to get to Kentucky and almost every road mapquest told me to take didn't exist. I ended up calling some friends and running up my phone bill to get to the studio. It was so lame. |
