How do you put seperate pictures like those at the top? I want my profile pictures to look like that if possible (I have photoshop/paintshop pro)

Looks like a transparant .png banner. You can do this in Photoshop easily enough.

If you leave the background blank - as with the checkered Photoshop grid - and save it as a .png file, it should make your images transparant and 'separate'.

Sorry I should have mentioned I am new to this whole html world. Maybe I should start to create something much easier but I don't know how to get started...Are theyre any custom layout tutorials for myspace?

Creating a banner doesn't involve any HTML - at least until you put it into a layout. You may be better off searching for some basic Photoshop tutorials first.

Those pictures you see in your example layout aren't separate at all - they're all part of the same banner image. The designer has just made parts of it transparant so the background comes through to make the images look spearate.
