1:
don't watch me
I catch you
you know?
I glance up
and see your gaze
upon me
but then you,
startled,
look away
like I'm some kind of
mistake.

2:
you know it's not love
when he's got
hot hands
but
cold kisses

3:
give me a
love-induced high
something that won't last
or maybe for one night
an hour, a minute, a split
second.

throw in, perhaps,
a dash of tenderness
clasped, hidden hands
soft, whispered kisses
and eyes brimming with
a hungry ecstacy
-but don't let it last!

I want you to give me goodbyes
farewells, no strings at all
because otherwise,
i'm due for heartbreak.

Wow. The second one sounds like one of those Confucius says kinda things. I have to agree, my teacher would probably have us study these kind of poems.
