Recently my school has had many bomb threats. We evacuated the school around 10 times before the people got caught.

Now theres a huge "rumor" going around that theres going to be a shooting tomorrow during the lunch that I have. Im pretty sure its just a bunch of talk. But considering all the bomb threats and stuff my school has had, its kinda of scary.

Everyones been talking about skipping school tomorrow so they wont get shot. My school is actually a pretty good school, so most likely nobody is even going to do it.

There's always reports of people having guns at my school, but when the police come and everyone gets searched, no one has anything.

In junior high it happened a lot.
It happened once when I was at the big high school, and when I went to the alternative school it never happened.

Just a few months ago there was a threat at the high school I went to. I was really mad because my sister was there.

Yeah, we've gone into lockdown quite a few times. So far we haven't had to this year.

We actually had two boys bring guns to school when I was a Sophmore and they came through the parking lot doors during 7th hour. Lucky me, I happened to be right in the halls by those doors when they were walking through the doors. I'll never forget the look they gave me. I kinda froze and then cops came from different directions and tackled them and all that good stuff. It was pretty scary.

The school I went to never got any threats. There was always a drug bust here and there. Then one time some pyro set one of the school bathrooms on fire. He never mentioned to anyoen that he was going to do it though. Other than that, I think that was all that ever happened at that school.

If there would have been any shooting or bomb threats, I would have been skipping school on certain days.

Last week someone lit a trashcan on fire in the guys bathroom. The whole second floor smelled like smoke. We didnt even leave the building. mellow.gif

Well anyways. Everyone was freaked out during lunch. Nothing happened. Darn.

Yes. In high school, many. Only once since getting to college. I'm not too sure why anyone bothered to threaten to blow up the Student Learning Center.

That's the place where the girl from ANTM is from.

Anyways, we've had bomb threats, stink-bomb threats, girl-fight threats, and Intruder-on-Campus threats, with a drug-and-alcohol bust here and there. Not as exciting as it sounds, though.

We had a bomb threat on my Birthday. We had to evacuate to the junior high so all 2,500 of us were all crossing the street at once so they closed some roads. And after our bomb threat at the high school the junior high had three bomb threats in a row. Now they have a fulltime police and dog there.

we had a gang fight @ my high school a few weeks ago. The next day, nobody went to school because those gang members that weren't arrested were said to have another fight, this time with guns.

There was an evacuation at the school of medicine at ucsd, or something like that. I heard it was a bomb thread. Apparently it got everyone riled up, and yesterday evening there was still a part of it closed off.

Seriously, what's with these threads lately? =_=

we had a bomb threat once back in high school.

they evacuated everyone. I was in the library, right near the entrance
just waiting for someone to come in with guns and shoot us up.
I was so scarred though. then they send everyone home, and
the police came and checked the cars for bombs, and stuff.

After that day I prayed everyday that there was another bomb
threat.

Back at the end of October our school had a shooting threat. I wasn't happy that we had a threat ,but I was happy about the effect of the threat. I was able to get into the school parking lot safley without the fear of someone ramming into me or a bus cutting me off. The hallways were so empty. Usually I have to do this nerdy brisk walk to class. That day I moved as slow as possible and I still made it to class.

Best school day ever.

But ever since every two weeks the students get searched by secruity. I keep getting stopped. It's really starting to make me mad.

but people dont see me as a freshman because supposely
i act more mature-er.
but im not showing it off just saying.
one day i decided to go visit my friends
in the "main" campus
[im in the 9th grade center] so yeah..
over at the main campus they had a bomb threat
so i missed most of my classes
since they didnt let anyone in or out >.<

haha it was fun though..
cause i was running in the hallways with my friends
& even a teacher joined in..
haha then we chilled at the library..

bomb threat was over the phone so yeah..

We had one last Halloween that everyone knew it was fake because there were hundreds of different rumors going around but over half of the school didn't show up that day. I think it was a just an excuse to get a free day off of school. The awesome thing was that I went that day and the halls were nearly empty, no one bumped into me and we barely did anything in class. It was a wonderland XD

That is really weird, because my school had pretty much the same thing. First it started at our rivals school and then began at ours.We kept havign to evacuate and go to a nearby church while they swept the school. Same with the school shooting thing. There was a 70% abscense (sp?) that day

Some kid at our school threatened to shoot/stab everyone in our school. It was in the news and everything. Of course, no one cared as much about getting murdered as they did about getting off of school the next day.

I remember in high school we had a bomb threat. We were all evacuated to the huge dirt field across the street and the local police's bomb squad came storming in. As always, it wasn't a real bomb. Some loco person just called in. hammer.gif

Yeup. In the lovely, Asian populated, suburban city I live in.

Offender in question? Chinese language teacher.

Apparently she brought dynamite to school?
Don't know the whole story.

Building was evacuated.

I'm guessing nothing was conclusive or threatening since she STILL works there. XD!

The last one I had that was a threat or a lock down was probably back in middle school. There's this teacher who hit a student, and the student's uncle came to the school disguised and brought a gun. He came into the school building when there were only a few teachers and he stole a few things (such as a laptop and money from teachers, I think) and the SWAT team came and we all had to evacuate the building, then we had to go home. Oh, and there was also another one where we had a lock down because a student said that there were gunshots heard near the neighborhood of our school.

We had a lock down during 4th period and started code blue last friday (the last day before spring break starts) and it was 1:00PM dismissal. It turns out we had code blue and a bunch of cops came by. Each building was dismissed separately instead of all classes to leave. But we got to get out 1 hour earlier. xD

No but in middle school (Silver Lakes Middle) there was a gang "war" that broke out during lunch. They had to close down the school and had to go home really late =\ The next day we had the day off because of all the investigation on the school premises.

Nope. I've always went to low-population schools. As in less than or around 300. Plus, they had some hecka strict behavior policy or w/e. shrug.gif

I go to an uptight catholic prep school. This is the school's first year. It has 5 bullet holes in the front of the building.

My highschool received 2 bomb threats and one of the high schools we were playing threatened our marching band & our band director told us about the call, contacted their director, and advised us not to make eye contact with anyone at the other school & to be aware of our surroundings & just be safe & stay under the "umbrella of protection" as he called it...the only serious incident that actually happened was a fire that was started in the theatre but it was controlled & didn't harm anyone, but it was televised & a fight broke out while the news broadcasts were occuring so it looked bad...

We're on our second bomb threat within a week. First some on-campus fraternity sponsored party, now a dining hall??!?

Yea, I heard; I'm so glad I didn't drive up there for the pajama party...I'd rather go to UGA parties during football season anyway...it's sooo much fun

Haha, I hadn't actually heard about the pajama party until I read it was canceled in the paper today. I don't really understand what it was...but there's no way I would pay $10 or $20 for it. All I heard about this weekend was Shipwreck, which was apparently a big deal from the Jews.

Football season parties are fun if you're into that/really drunk. I meant to make a topic about frat parties when I bumped that fraternity/sorority one (because I then realized I was late for English).

Yea it was supposed to be a PJ party so a lot of people from other schools were planning to go up there as well; I'm just glad I decided against it...Yea I know; I used to visit a lot when I was 15 & I could just go into the bar & they'd make drinks & not I.D.; that's what we did at one of the FBLA conventions; we left & got drinks...I'm no alchi at all; football season is just usually when there's a lot of hype going on; I'm not into all of the binge drinking or anything...The frat party topic would be a good one...
