*sigh* I miss having a website. Anyway, its really cute. I wish the font was easier to read, as well as the headings. The brown texture makes is somewhat hard to read. If the headings text was yellow (like the yellow that was used either on the K or the A) instead of pink, it would be better. The background is kind of distracting too, I don't really think it fits well with the rest of the layout.

I think the polka dot background is too much. The date text should also be a different color so that you can acutally read it. For me the text doesn't match too much being only black. I would try adding some more to the content areas would make it appear better. The header looks ok though.

^I agree about the background being a bit too much. The banner is pretty cute, and I like the general theme.
