I just wanted to show you guys my art gallery. It contains some of the drawings I've done since freshman year in high school. I am currently a sophomore in college. All of them have small descriptions about them, and if you click on an image, you can see a larger version of them. I took pictures of my pictures with a digital camera. Sometimes the quality isn't that great so bare with me. I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures! I worked hard to put the gallery together.

Pretty cool, I like a lot of it. I wish I could draw sad.gif I personally don't like the layout though, the header at the top. The tree is real yet the house is like a little pixel house that you could make in photoshop with the use of shapes..and since they don't go together..it looks weird. o_O I'm not really big on the gradient either. I'll shut up though, your asking about the art work not the web design work XD

Most of your stuff is really bland, you need to up the contrast. Astronomical clock is ok, but you could have done better with ink.

A lot of it doesn't show that you have an understanding of how to use the medium, especially the color pencil ones. They are streaky and not shaded well.

Agreed.

I'm sorry, but I have to say this: I would have liked to see a lot more realism than anime. Rather than focusing on anime, where you do not seem to be improving your shading technique, you should set-up mini still-lifes and practice shading and creating more realistic techniques. THEN go back to anime and work with better skills. Learning how to shade and create greater contrast helps you in all areas of art.

Sorry, but most of your work is rather bland. You need to try to develop more contrast and value into your pieces, and perhaps try a more realistic approach as opposed to anime. Many of your...characters are rather flat, and it's obvious that this carried over when you attempted more realistic portraits. You seem to have a good spark of creativity, but without skill refinement that won't do you much good in the art world. You need to practice with the different mediums and learn how they work, and how to use them successfully. As has been suggested, try setting up still lifes to practice with. You have potential, don't let it slip away flowers.gif
