I don't think you should laugh at other cultures' customs just because we don't do that in the US.

Of course, this sounds strange to me, but I hope it works..

I never heard of anyone culture where they marry animals. I'm sorry but I had to laugh, I'm pretty sure they laugh at us Americans for the things we do.

I didn't know you can marry a animal in India.

How silly but if you believe in it enough, I guess... My dad promised a pundit not to drink but whenever he does (and it is on rare occasions), he gets a rash on his leg. shrug.gif

Well, marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman, so it wouldn't be legal.

laugh.gif And yea, if he wants to marry a dog...whatever, personally I think it's a plea for attention with religion used as the base.

Yes, people have married animals in the US.

It ridiculous. They won't let gay people marry but they let <a href="http://www.cincypost.com/living/1998/spring052198.html">a man marry a horse</a>and<a href="http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/47297/for_better_or_for_worse.html">a man marry himself</a>.
Absolutely f**king ridiculous.

Agreed.
It just sounds so odd, being so unaccustomed to it.
But hopefully it does work?
