Take out boys/girls locker, and make it one locker.

In the interest sections, take out the ones that are like....

what, dead?

i think combining the two locker rooms isn't a bad idea. boys go in the girls and the girls go in the boys anyway. it's pretty much the same 13 year old questions over and over again.

I think having separate locker rooms is just fine; it's more organized.

I have to admit, I do like the separate locker rooms. I mean, the boy's and girls questions are totally different. As far as the other sections... yeah, cleaning them out... would be a good idea. It depends on the section really.

It just looks too cluttered. Look at the interest sections. To be honest with you, most of those could be in lounge. Who the hell really looks at ALL of the interest sections?

Waste.

I like separate locker rooms, but I doubt there's much else we can do for them.

I think that it would be nice to clear out the locker rooms. Just delete all the topics in there. I mean, there are different problems and topics with each generation. Then again, it might be a bad idea.

There's no need to delete the topics in the locker rooms. Besides, Jusun said not to do it.

LOL, I definitely agree, but there are so many crapies (the people who surf the crap) who would complain about this if we did it. Yeah, they may not make huge decisions here on cB, but they still surf those boards.

Wasn't the "Smart Section" idea to eliminate a bunch of interests or at least a few. I liked that idea.

Merging the locker rooms, not so much. Because really there are different questions for girls and boys. Especially physical changes.

As for the interests..well I guess a lot of it could be in the lounge but its more organized having their own sections.

I understand that, but I'm just confused as to what those are?

Is it like

Locker Rooms
Smart Section

VS

all the craps for the interests? blink.gif

Although we already said we wouldn't get rid of the locker rooms.

So what is it

Dumb Section
Smart Section

VS

the list of interests?

It was just more of like a "2 pieces of crap is better than 14 pieces of crap."

I'm not really attacking any subforum. I just think we need to merge some things together.

Oh okay, well I'm up for merging things together in the interests. I've always thought there was quite a bit in there.

We need to brain storm and think of names though :D

As a past staff member, I am a strong proponent of orginization and clearing things out. However Jusun already said that we can't delete topics per Michelle's request a few months back. I probably have the thread saved somewhere. I'm with the rest of the people that say that there needs to be broader threads for interest's subforums. I mean, listen to me, I was once on staff. I really like the idea to merge ones that are alike and pretty slow, like the writing and one of the other ones that is slow. The only subfourms that I see that move are school, and entertainment, sometimes books even though Entertainment isn't in Interests, I just thought I'd throw it in there because I was on staff and I still make the rules. The others to me, are pretty much dead zones.

I think if you were to merge writing with art, you could make somthing like "The Arts" symobolizing the art of writing, and the practical arts like drawing and such. That's coming from my designer side. You know, I thought of it myself. Books I suppose could be merged with school, "The library" -- probably would only make sense to me, becusae in our library at school (media center) it's more of a study hall. If someone proposes which ones should be merged I could come up with crafty names for the new merged subfourms.

But really, I was on staff and everything I just said should be taken seriously because I was on staff.

^Man, why do you have to come and ruin things? You're trying too hard because the bashing on Thomas thing is old now.

Merging Books with Writing is nice. Call it Literature if we want to continue the single word title tradition.

I think the Locker forums are fine. There are a lot of female- and male-specific topics and it would be weird to merge them. It's more organized as people have said.

As for interests, what can be done with Art? A lot of certain forums could fit into the broad concept of art: writing, art (traditional), showcase booth, pictures...

I'm going to hunt down the old forum re-organization topics.

^ I don't think the showcase booth should be put into art, just because there is already so much going on in the showcase booth.

I do like the idea of putting books and writing together.

LOL spenc.

I know it shouldn't but it qualifies as art. My point was that having a singel Arts forum is too broad. :P

I like the books + writing = literature. But as for the locker rooms, they're perfectly fine being seperated. We need our privacy guys. rolleyes.gif
