I'm inspired by this layout

this is the layout i have design:

[img=http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/7701/26100715py9.th.jpg]
I know how to hide profile, change track bar color, but I want to make a navigation box and a box for the about me section just like in the other profile above..I went to the tutorial but I'm confused on how to do it.

I don't even know how to start off the code. The only thing i know so far to do is to hide the myspace default page. Thats it. All i need to know now, is how to put the image as my bg just like on this page. www.myspace.com/the_little_miss

This is what happens when i put:

CODE
<div class="bg" style="position: absolute; left:0px; top:0px; width:000px; height:000px; overflow: hidden; z-index:0">
<img src="http://img152.imageshack.us/my.php?image=76039952ba1.jpg">
</div>

my page is still blank and when i return to the edit page it shows it as:
CODE
<div class="bg" style="position: absolute; left:0px; top:160px; width:1024px; height:768px; overflow: hidden; z-index:0">
..
</div>

What am i doing wrong? Which section am I supposedt o put it in? About me or who i'd like to meet?

ok, so far I've managed to just put the bg in. Great. So now all I need to do is add the 2 tables in.
