"Youth is wasted on the young." Options

I read this quote somewhere, and I've been thinking about it a lot lately.

What are some thing that you wish you experience when you were younger? Or some things that you think all young people should experience?

As a child, I think I experience the most an Asian-American family could provide. Swinging with my best friend while kicking love bugs, having baby crushes, cooking green eggs and ham... :)

But, still, I'm scared that my youth will be wasted. I want to try all sorts of things, such as learning how to play the harp (haha) or going naked, and not being wrinkly and ugly, to the Renaissance Festival. I think I've experienced love, abuse, depression, and all sorts of other teenager-ly feelings (sometimes unfortunately). I've also had pets die and things lost.

I don't know... this is just a random ramble. What do you think youth should have in it?

I always wished my parents had spent less time fighting with each other and more time spending time with me and my other siblings doing family things like camping and going to the park and shit.

i think i had to lose that "sit around a camp fire, play tag and giggle" type of outlook on my "youth" because of my mom when i was like 7

everyone should have one special christmas when they were younger. christmas when you were younger was so much more better and appreciated. my dad use to tell me that barbies costed thousands of dollars and then he would get me a ton for christmas every year. and i would be so happy because they were worth 'thousands of dollars', hahaha. and smoke a cigarette and try weed atleast once when your are in your teens years, seriously hahaha :).
