I'm a victim of perfectionism. Sometimes I like it, but there are just times when I just hate it and really don't have the time for it. I'm a major perfectionist. If I don't like the way I write "the", I can just erase for literally three minutes.

Are you? (Dun dun dun.)

well, if something messes up my paper and i got some extra papers to use i throw it out, or erase it until i dont even see the dent. i dont really think im a perfectionist, my friends say i am though.

i like it when things just 'look right'

i used to make a big deal out of those things, ESPECIALLY titles. i would just keep erasing and rewriting until all the letters were PERFECT.

sigh.

Yep, an atypical Virgoen trait. It drives me nuts too; but any end result is always worth that extra fretting and worrying. Perfectionists raise the standards of the populace. laugh.gif

Hmmm ...

Not a Perfectionist ..coz to be frank ..orderliness freaks me out ...

Infact I used to suffer from OCD ( Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ) . checking whether the taps were closed ... the locks in place ....The yearning for the perfect ringing of my cycle bells etc -

In short ..life was totally screwed out ... Dreadful days those .. Right now pretty much cool with life !!! biggrin.gif

I'm not really a perfectionist. But with certain things, I am. Or on certain days. It varies ;P

About certain things, I can be. But I definitely wouldn't consider myself a perfectionist.

If there's something important that I'm writing, then I'm really picky about how perfect it is. Other than that, I'm really not much for being a perfectionist.

I am sometimes...it really depends on what it is and how lazy I am. XD.gif A lot of the time I can be pretty bad though, haha like lining up all the beauty/lotion products in perfect little lines at work...lol.

Man, when it comes to competition, I am absolutely a perfectionist. If there's any thought that I might not do as well as someone else in an audition, I work the hell out of it and get MAD at myself if I play it wrong. Usually my work pays off, though, because apparently I work well under stress.

Someone asked me today, "How'd your audition go?" I said, "I did alright." His response was, "Yeah, yeah, I remember that from high school. 'Eh, yeah, I did okay,' and then you get first chair. You make me sick." xD

i am a perfectionist with certain things, like my ipod playlist. every artist name and song name has to have correct spelling and every first letter has to start with a capital and featuring is always spelled like 'Ft.'. my friends always make fun of my playlist and if anything is out of order on my playlist i freak out and i change it as soon as i get home. and my closet goes alphabetically by brand, style then colour, i hate it if things are out of place in my closet :(.

I'm a perfectionist about some things, but sometimes I'm too lazy to care. I'm really precise with spelling and grammar, the neatness of my math notes, and typing.

Kind of. I agree with babecakes, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my iPod playlist. I'm KIND OF a perfectionist when it comes to school notes, everything has to be neat..

I'm a huge perfectionist when it comes to art. If things don't look right when I'm starting out on a painting or a drawing, I get so frustrated, but usually I keep pushing myself until I'm happy with it.

Yeah same pinch.gif I sometimes still do. If I think about perfection too much I feel the need to go around the whole house and spend hours fixing everything until it's perfect.

I am the ultimate perfectionist, hence why my friends don't like planning things for me. I try not to be upfront with it, but when I need to show it, I will.

I'm an awful perfectionist. I'm atypically virgoen - fussy, pedantic and obsessed with perfection. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

I'm not as much a perfectionist as I am a neat freak. People get them confused alot sometimes. I have an obsessive need for everything around me to be clean and in it's place. That, and I'm really organized, especially when it comes to school. I buy colour-coded highliters, pens, pencils, binders, Post-Its...all that good stuff.

I wonder why people take so much pride in being obsessive compulsive. I'm not saying it's always a bad thing, but it seems like people flaunt it when they dont really even have OCD.

I am such a perfectionist with school projects it is ridiculous if I have to make a power point I go crazy with animations, if I have to make a poster I need to have everything in order and all lines strait. But otherwise my room is probably the most messy room in the entire house.
