Have you ever wondered what you'll be wearing in thirty years?

I'm always looking at moms and just thinking "...do not tell me I'll be wearing that stuff." But then I think that if I keep my clothes now and wear them when I'm older, I'll just look ridiculous! But then again I do hate the clothes that they're wearing....

I've always been thinking about that. Idk, I really want to be that "hip," cool, soccer mom who looks like a high schooler and could pull off certain outfits that other people at that age can't. haha :] But, seeing how I'm not getting any sleep and exercise these past couple of weeks, that's probably not going to happen.

Ugh, but I hate how some old moms wear Hollister or something and it just emphasizes their fat on their stomachs, not their youth. ><

Sigh, I just hope I will have decent fashion taste when I'm older.

I've never thought of that before. You're right, though, how you'll look weird if you wear teen clothes blink.gif But I really can't imagine myself in.. "adult" clothes. mellow.gif But I guess when we grow up, it'll seem normal to wear the clothes that usual adults wear?

Corporate clothing is hot. eyebrowes.gif

I'd probably wear a combo of casual and formal.

Wait, I'd be around 50 in thirty years, hmm.

my mom won't let me give her a makeover :(
I want to rip out every piece of clothing in her closet and just,
just give her my clothes or something!
ahah.

but to stay on topic,
in thirty years, I'm pretty sure I'll be nothing like current moms o_o

I'm at the point right now where I can wear clothes in the junior's department, but I really need to stop shopping there just because it's convenient and easy to find clothes that fit. I'm 20. I'm in college, sure, but I don't want to keep dressing like a kid. Then again, I don't want to dress like I'm 30, either. I don't know.

I want to dress appropriately for my age... get lots of exercise. Basically keep up with taking care of myself and look the best I can for my age.

*cough :P

I don't wear anything revealing. Then again, I never did. I wear knee length skirts, black boots (must be a high heel) and turtlenecks a lot.

I don't condone dressing down because you're age has gone up. That's just bullshit.

Not all older women are stuck in the fashion of 20 years' past. Look at Carolina Herrera or Diane von Furstenburg.
I guess I'll just keep up with trends by reading Vogue or something. The most important thing is to not look 'too young' like you're obviously trying, or 'too old'.

I just wonder if I will still care though. Lots of older women, especially moms, just let themselves go because they don't care what people think anymore, or they're too busy taking care of their kids or whatever huh.gif

Suit. I'd still be working in Goldman Sachs though not as an analyst, rather a managing director.

I'll probably be living in that nudist camp before then. So when that time comes, I won't have to worry about fashion. Only thing I'll be worrying about is keeping things from sagging and wrinkling. (KIDDING!)

I've noticed that the women in my family don't look horrible when they get old. So I'm guessing I'll still be dressing like a total prostitute . Well maybe not a total prostitute, but close enough. I mean, Once things start sagging, I'm not going to wear tops that let that show far too much.

My sisters are in their 30's and dress like they are 70. It's dumb. Then they yell at me for still wearing hot things. Other times they lecture me about how I'll have to dress like them when I get to be their age. I laugh and say nope. I wouldn't be ashamed to still wear a mini skirt at their age. Kids or no kids, wearing something like a mini skirt does not make you a whore. Ugh... People these days.
