I haven't made any graphics in a while. I've pretty much forgotton how to make them lol coz i'm trying to make a banner and i've put brushes on it and text and i want to put the glass effect on all of it.But it says there's no active data..i've tried making new layers and what not but it doesn't make a difference..what am i doing wrong lol

You won't be able to use the filter on text layers until you rasterize them (right click on layer and click 'Rasterize Type'). As for the brushes, I'm not sure why. Can you post a screenshot?

Well I just opened the file and it won't let me make a new raster layer..And now went I select around the banner,it just stays like that,like it doesn't even come up with the "no active data" pop up or anytrhing

What's specifically on Layer 2? Try flattening the layer before applying the filter.
Also, not sure what you're trying to do by selecting the heart. Oh, and the heart may be too thin to see any effect from the filter. In Photoshop, sometimes some filters won't work because there aren't enough pixels to work with. |
