well i am an OBVIOUS beginner at this kind of stuff so go easy please. I decided to let my creative juices flow so i opened up iweb and tried to design a myspace layout. I have all the types of links that need to be in there, but how do i get the code? I saved it, then opened it up as an html file and then clicked view source. After that, I copied and pasted all of that information into the about me... I know it's not right but i just took a stab in the dark :(

Is creating a myspace layout using iweb possible?
If so then how do i get the code after all the work is supposedly done?

Did you actually image map it? I'm assuming you're using a Mac. Try image mapping with Image Ready, it's easier, although I've never used iWeb before.

Image mapping is when you can design links on images. So you didn't save the image? Image Ready can be found with Adobe Photoshop. Search for it on http://adobe.com.

I'd avoid iWeb - it's hard to design layouts with different CSS for sites like myspace. Rather, use your image design and try coding it using some of the tutorials.

Hang on, I'll get you an imagemap resource.
http://www.kasparius.com/tutorials/imagemap/how.htm
^That is the most comprehensive resource that I could find.

We also provide a tutorial for DIV layered image mapping.
