Hold on if you just want to test something freewebs automatically gives you a index.htm on your little manager thing or whatever.
Click on the edit tool for that and just paste all your codes in there and save it. Then just check your home page and it should be up there. |

yeah and the codes don't get messed up because for some reason freewebs leaks codes out of the text areas o_0

ok. it wont let me save my layout as a text file, only htm and html. am i doing something wrong again?? Why do you like to save your layout as a text file? If you use a layout for your website, the file should be html or htm for the layout to work. Coz if you use a text file for a layout on your website then the layout won't work or appear. What'll appear are only the html codes and other text thingy not the layout itself with some images on it and other stuff. But if you only want to save it as a text file for some other reason, then save the codes on your notepad as .txt not .html or .htm. Then upload it directly on your Freewebs File Manager. That's it! |

^Dear, please read the other posts *laughs
They want it to be a txt file so it will show up like this: http://www.freewebs.com/ecdcomment/tslyt3.txt I'm sure by now they probably figured it out, because if not I'm sure they would have come back and replied. |
