you're being a bit vague with that question, but it seems like a lot of the questions you ask are about the basics of html.
you can find guides on w3schools.com or echoecho.com. if you still can't find your answer, restate your question here, more specifically... what size in pixels, what position, static or non static, etc etc etc. |

Yes... i'm done with the coding i'm looking to size...the background right...i used a css code to center and not repeat but it's not large enough i'm looking how to adjust the size using the html to fit my page...and was wondering the code required to do so

There is no way to graphically stretch your image to fit the page. That is impossible with css. You already said the image fits the screen, so what are you asking?

wtf? 6000 pixels is extremely large. What exactly are we talking about?

ok sorry, but why the f**k do you have a 6000 pixel graphic. it's neither aesthetically pleasing nor efficient. what resolution even supports that?
it's understandable if you have a graphic that fades off into a solid color. then you could just have the rest of the "background" a solid color ;o if you're doing a horizontal layout, you could cut up your background into many "backgrounds" in divs. |

yeah if it fits the screen there is no need to strach it more. If some people don't see it right on a certain resolution ust make a solid bg that matches or repeat it
