You'll need a flash program such as Macromedia Flash or Swish. Then you'll need to view tutorials online to figure out how to use these programs.

to make flash stuff u need to use dreamweaver, n stuff, which is complicated, and unless u were planning on making it interative, i'd suggest just using an animated gif

Dreamweaver doesn't do Flash.

Macromedia and Swish are the best Flash making applications. And prepare to sit down with tutorials for a good hour or two before you start making anything.

a good hour or two?
for something presentable, you'll need way longer than that. (especially if you want to make it interactive and not just a movie)

macromedia flash mx 2004 has a free trial and costs $499 US to buy (or $0 if youre smart biggrin.gif )

imageready does export to swf but only animations. if you want the full power of flash, which is interaction (and the main reason i use it), then you need a real flash program.

Try a few weeks worth of tutorials. I take a Flash class at my college and after 10 weeks I'm still tryin to figure out how to do certain things

Exactly the learning curve is extremely high. Took me nearly 1year to learn all the commands and scripting. I'm still learning action scripting, but i have switched to swishmax.

You need Macromedia Flash, you can use Animation Shop, but it won't be flash.
