ok so here's the story, I've been dating this guy for about 2-3 weeks now (he asked me out the night we chilled last).. and we've only hung out together once since we've been going out.. We kept making plans, but something would always come up, and he couldn't make it. He'll disappear for like 3-5 days straight, no phone calls, no e-mails, no IMs.. nothing. Yeah, he has a job, but for 7 days a week, and can't even pick up the phone and make a phone call? c'mon now..And then he comes back saying the same ol' stuff, "I'm so sorry, I'm trying the best I can, I'll try harder to see you" blah blah blah. The thing is, out of all of this stuff that he's been telling me, he has the nerve to tell me "I love you", ESPECIALLY when it's really early in the relationship.. So I'm asking for advice... What should I do about his little disappearing acts? and the fact that I don't see him anymore?

Whoa...sounds weird...you might have a start of a stalker. Yeah its real early in the relationship to say something like that especially if he really doesn't know you!!! Personally I would ease away from him and look for another guy...

Well, I've known him since the 7th grade.. lol.. well i knew OF him since the 7th grade.. him and I only started talking and hanging out this past December

Maybe.. because.. you need to build up on your relationship before saying I Love You? I don't know.. but seems like the guy's too busy for a relationship. Sometime soon, talk it over with him. Tell him maybe he is too busy for a relationship.

Yeah I know what you mean.. I've tried talking to him, but he's always says the same things "I'll try harder....im sorry"
and as for the "i love you" thing.. I told him straight up that I don't feel that way right now, but I do care about him..  maybe thats where I went wrong... i mean like, maybe if i said it back then he'd be here more often.. i duno *shrugs*

It doesn't sound wierd when he says that to me.. I just get all happy and I can't stop smiling when he says it.. LoL, i get all wierd when he comes online though.. I hear his sound thing go off when he signs on aim, and i make a loud noise, and my heart just drops.. lol

my ex-bf is like that. he got too busy with his job thats the main reason we broke up =/ but if you really want to make it work then try. but he may not be lying... jobs are tiring.

just talk to him about it. and plan ahead.
tell him, that if he doesn't spend time with you then, you should just be friends. he'll get a reality slap from that. |

me n my b/f have been goin out 4 bout 2 yrs n i love him n he loves me but we neva really had a real date we only see each otha in skool look jus give it times n things will work out..... absence makes the heart grow fonder
