Yeah I guess so. I'm really new to this and I just got paint shop pro. I want to start making my own designs. I have no clue what I'm doing but I'm a really fast learner.

Well. Uh. The first thing you'd want to do is learn your program. Learn it's features and capabilities. Note, this isn't something you can just learn in an hour. Surf the internet, find tutorials, and just practice. Practice with your program before you add on the extra step of creating layouts.

Of course.
 But honestly, your best bet is to learn your program and start working with your graphics, and then later, after you feel experienced enough with your program, to venture out and add on that additional step of layouts.

I use PSP, too. ^5
Check out websoup.org for some links to tutorials, there's tutorials here on createblog, too. Surf the web a bit, play around with it a bit... I've had PSP for, like, ever, and I'm still learning things. Create graphics isn't something that you're ever going to know everything about, just make sure that you try out some beginner tutorials before jumping into more advanced stuff.
