Or more certainly, your face. Who has had any face piercings ? I've had snakebites but I did them myself, so since I was doing it it didn't really hurt that much. But like people say, when you're the one doing it as opposed to someone else doing it, it wont hurt as much. Im actually getting "venombites" done, which is two lower lip piercings done side by side ( or two lip piercings on the tongue side by side ) and im excited and nervous ! I've heard whole bunches of different stories from it barely hurts at all to excruciating pain and bleeding and bla bla. And, since im getting them done at the same time im sure the 2nd peircing will hurt a lot more because of the fact the 1st piercing already irritated the area and made it swell and stuff.

Does anyone know ? Does anyone have these piercings ? And give me your stories and pain levels !

I got my ears pierced when i was 3 months old. I got 2 more to add on when i was around 12 and those barely hurt. Im HOOPING that i do have the high tolerance for pain i think i do, so that it wont hurt that much. But im willing to go through pain because eventually it wont hurt and it'll be worth it. Im also getting a tattoo the same weekend. =D Im excited for that as well, and I know that ones going to hurt.

Steven has two eyebrow piercings next to each other.

Shrugs* when I thought of this, I thought of gauges. I have an industrial, which is a gauged piercing (of course) and I've gone down to two's for my ears. I also have had anti-brows (which were soo cute. Now I just have my eye-brow piercing (which closed up today, so I had to shove something back through), industrial, and 6 ear-lobe piercings.

I'm getting over the piercing stage... waiting to get inked. :]

I pierced my own ears, and that's it. ^_^ My friends are doing their own tattoos with needles and ink, haha. Silly them. I would never do that, b/c it's permanent, and if I f**ked up, I'd probably die with the regret of it.

I don't know. If I don't wear ear piercings for, like, 4 months (which I have done before), my hole gets SUPER TIGHT, and it's hard to stick in a piercing. It's basically like not having a hole, I guess.

I have two friends with septum rings and I went with someone to get her tongue pierced last week. I got my first holes done in my ears when I was about 14, and seconds just over a month ago.

Personally, I can't say I have any interest in any piercings other then more in my ears. Maybe I'd do my bellybutton if my stomach were flatter, but meh.

The weirdest I've seen were surface piercings on people's arms or foreheads.

I have quite a few piercings.
I used to have snakebites, but they weren't straight so i ended up taking one of them out.
I hardly really wear any of them now, i also have my nose pierced, i hardly ever wear that either.

Only thing i've ever pierced myself is my earlobe, wouldn't dare do anything else, mainly scared of infection and stuff!!

I do have more piercings.
And one tattoo.
But hope to get more tatts soon.

i currently have

i've retired
snakebites, single lip piercing, bridge and vertical bridge.

my single lip piercing i had for about 6 years, and it closed up after about 4 weeks of taking it out.
i had my snakebites done for over a year (i just took them out 2 days ago) and it took a whole less than a day for them to say "buh bye"

be careful getting piercings side by side done together. it's not smart, and there's a chance of migration... not because they're done incorrectly, but because your body fights to heal them both at the same time, and usually fails.
it's better to do them with about a 2-4 week difference between the two.... a GOOD piercer with MORALS will not pierce somebody twice in the same general area..
give your face some time to heal the one before getting the other one done.

i know it seems more hardcore to do them both together, but... it's just not the safer route.

I made a huge mistake in getting my piercings about a week after another. >_< It was so annoying to have to meticulously wash and care for them EVERY SINGLE DAY! D: I'd say let the first one heal until you're comfortable with it, then get the next. It'll look cool anyways! X]

I happen to think SOME piercings look beautiful and go well with certain people. But there are some people who wear piercings wrong somehow, and it just isnt natural and are hella ugly.

you cana get them done with studs or hoops,
however you're going to want to get them done with hoops to begin with for the first few weeks, to allow your lip to swell... swelling is actually a very important process during healing.
to limit the swelling by means of jewelry is going to aggravate it and cause some problems.

not to impose opinions, but have you thought about side-by-side vertical lip piercings?
are you planning on a left side, right side, or in the middle?

i have my ears twice, my belly and my nose...i have had my ears 3 times but they got infected and i had to take em out, same with my catilage. my belly hurt, but i didn't cry...i almost passed out though cause i hadnt eaten all day...then my nose was a breeze. i hardly felt it and i have a low low low pain tolerance. i think the worst piercing pain wise was my cartilage...i wouldnt imagine that snake bites would hurt TOO bad at first...but maybe after when you gotta eat and talk and stuff...i dunno...i wanna get the marylin monroe type thing done...it looks like a beauty mark...but its a cute little stud....but i would only get that if i took my nose ring out cause that would just be too much i think...good luck with your piercing!

Piercings come out...they leave tiny little scars sometimes, but really, they arent a huge deal and I don't think God will scorn us for them. Piercings (when done correctly and tastfully) don't take away your beauty, but they accent it. Saying that you shouldnt decorate your body because you are ruining what God made would mean that you can't wear makeup either, and you shouldnt wear jewelry and you shouldnt cut your hair, and you shouldnt shave...it all falls into the same boat...so...yea

it's possible it's a type of allergic reaction to the jewelry...
have you tried in gold, silver, or other nickel free jewelry?

also, there are parts of my body that can NOT take piercings.

i can get my ear lobes done, but cartelidge is impossible. the few times i've gotten it done, it's closed right up. actually tried to swallow the earring.
i've also never been able to have a bellybutton piercing heal on me. ever. and i've had it done a few times.
all i have to show for it are a couple of scars.

I had snakebites too, which I did myself. I think if I got it done professionally it would have hurt less..because when I do it I take forever just to get the needle though[like 10 mins], whereas if you get it done professionally its over in a matter of seconds. I let one of them close up though, so now I'm just back to one side pierced. they were a little uneven so it reallly bothered me.
also just did my eyebrow yesterday. Its still really swollen, and I just have a needle chillin there, waiting for the swelling to go down before I put the actual eyebrow ring thingger in.

I thought the worst was my ear cartilage too. Its the only one that actually bled. Lip didn't bleed, eyebrow didnt bleed.
When I did my snake bites. I dont remember it being hard/painful to talk or eat..but idk, I can't remember too clearly.
