The name is Kayla and I'll keep it short:

I like blueberry pancakes on sunday mornings, the way the world looks at 7:00 A.M., old, decrepit things that most people have long forgotten, music floating in a room, sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch on a rainy day, and approximate rhymes. I'm not particularly funny or charismatic or even interesting, but I might be able to make you think (or at least I claim to), and maybe if you're nice enough I'll make you some chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips in them ('cause that's the best way to eat them). I'm chock full of useless trivia (Abraham Lincoln was watching the British comedy Our American Cousin when he was assassinated in Ford's Theatre, Earth's average rotation around the sun is actually 365.2-ish) and I love cheesy jokes (Why did Beethoven get rid of his chickens? 'Cause they kept going 'Bach, Bach, Bach!') and I hate it when introductions consist of a short "zomg heyz i'm *insert name here* and im seventeen and i like boyz and moviez and desecrating the english language."

Interesting..
Well, hi Kayla, I'm Jinny. I'm just wondering.. how come you eat chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips? Wouldn't they not be considered chocolate chip cookies then? Anyways, welcome to cB _smile.gif

I always try to make my introductions a bit interesting.

Most of the time I just go on for about three pages, haha. But I suppose anything sounds interesting when you compare it to a generic "OMGZ HAI IM KAYLA WELCOME ME NOW."

To answer questions:

I like blueberry pancakes anyday. They're just extra special on Sundays. And chocolate chip cookies I guess aren't exactly chocolate chip cookies, but they have brown sugar in them, which keeps them from being those regular sugar cookies, so it's just easier to say that they're chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips in them.

Agreed with the others; your intro was interesting. What kind of music do you like?
I hope you enjoy yourself here!

Music? I like everything. No joke. None of that "everything but rap and country" shit. I like everything. Give me rock, give me punk, give me rock, give me funk, give me hiphop and country and classical and rap. Anything good. A lot of the stuff I listen to is classified as "indie," but I hate that as a genre, mostly 'cause it's so ambiguous and doesn't really base the categorization of musicians by the characteristics of their music but instead the way in which they make it.

Though maybe I'll admit that folk rock is my favorite.
