I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THIS!

I joined the facebook group that was like..WEAR GREEN IN SUPPORT OF JENA SIX! so i did, and then i went to school and everyone else joined one that was "WEAR BLACK"

I just Wiki'd an Googled it, and honestly, I have yet to make any real opinion on who should be charged with what, but that fact that the nooses were regarded as PRANKS.

if he was white he would have been charged with the same thing
thats the most bullshit ive heard to say that if he wasnt black he would only be facing juvi.

yeah the white kids should have gotten a worse punishment
but the black kids or whatever decidedto beat the shit out of a white kid and they deserve the punishment for what they did

(as do the white people - and they really deserve a harder punihment but it has nothin to do wit if theyre white or black)

but dont blame that shit on racism
they jus arent f**kin man enough to accept the punishment for their actions

if they really deserve harder punishment then WHY are they not getting it? i don't think anyone is using race as an excuse, its not like this wasn't originally about race and then someone brought race into it. there's obviously something causing them to be treated differently, so if it's not their race then what do u think that is

What he's done in the past is not the issue. The issue is this bullshit that's happening now.

And I hope Mychel Bell's ass is out of jail by now. Supposedly the charges were already dropped. So why is he still sitting in a jail cell with grown ass men? He was tried as an adult when he was 16.

it happens all the time, especially in a small town like his, i'm sure the only jail is the one single jail where everyone goes.

and it seems like the underage kid doesn't even go to juvy, so whatever.

i've been to jail when i was underage, and they took me to the adult one.

our teacher told us about the jena 6 thing at school. then i got interested and googled it. i cant believe such a thing happened! and whats more? america is out fighting for another country's rights while this is going on -.-

also we have this debate thing in our class (not a debate team). we basically choose a topic and we discuss it. our class chose the jena six case but he wants us to get research on it. the problem is, he wants us to get an article SUPPORTING the issue. and it cant be from a racist site. ive looked everywhere! cant find anything! anyone wanna help??
