You know back in the days, when most people didn't really used photoshop or any other photo editing program. And when people took normal pics, instead of those "myspace" or scene emo angles. I miss the days when all that didn't exist, and people took normal photos. Nowadays, people look TOTALLY different from how they truly look like. An ugly person, can take a picture of themselves, and are very good at ps-sing, and make themselves look gorgeous. I wished everyone nowadays would just have normal pics of themselves without any editing, and show themselves as their true raw self. I'm just saying this, because i've been disappointed alot lately with people who i thought was cute or hot from pictures, but turned out ugly in real life, when i met them. What's your opinion about this?

That's so true. Photoshop has helped a lot of people. The different lighting and gradients. It's really frustrating. Because a lot of people look HOT in their pictures. But really they are plain jane like me. sigh.

Very, very true. Which is why I never open photoshop unless I'm making an avatar/sig/other sort of graphic.
Editing photos is lame (unless for changing to black&white).
I know so many people who edit their pictures so much, and then I saw them in person and just laughed...
Then whenever I go back to their myspace, I'm just like "YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE THAT!!! XD.gif "

Though, I don't miss the days when I didn't know how to use ps. It's awesome when you're bored and want to make graphics.

I'd have to agree, but wearing tight pants and taking mirror shots IS a scene Myspace picture.

I know it is Spencer, but I've posted normal pics of myself before, without any editing or angles.

No one Michelle. It's a generalization I just thought of. I can't make a topic that's not directed at a specific someone?

It seemed like you were telling a story about an experience you actually experienced.

Agreed. I edit my pictures based on color and whatnot...but thats about it. *shrug* I haven't experienced that personally, but I would find it annoying, but at the same time amusing in a way.

I don't think I've yet seen a 'gorgeous' picture of a fugly person.

No varnish can really hide the grain of the wood.

My opinion is that you should shut the f uck up and quit your whining. Nothing in this life is consistent (excluding the few exceptions). So, shut your hole and you can now go slit your wrist.

Still miss natural pictures, but I guess sometimes editing your pictures for a purpose of making the picture look better to a point is okay. But sometimes when you over do it, it just sickens me.

I don't mind mildly manipulated pictures, but the angles thing really freaks me out.

Curious, would you think of yourself as being "cheated" if someone wore makeup to make themselves look better? And then you realized they were a fugly piece of shit underneath the makeup?

Of course I'm not comparing PS-ing to makeup. You can definitely make someone hot with PS.
