So I can't believe no one has made a post about this yet, but NY fashion week just ended today. What did you think of it? Who were your favorite designers? Why?

----
I was in love with Tadashi Shoji's line. For a male, he has an amazing understanding of a womans body and every dress he made was so flattering. It was all classy but modern at the same time.

I fell in love with some pieces from Narciso Rodriguez's collection. The splashes of purples and lilacs throughout the collection were so pretty.

Love.

This is my absolute favourite! The black and purple beads sprayed across the dress - gorgeous!

I also loved Doo.Ri, especially her use of tulle with the dresses

Certain pieces from Carolina Herrera:

Marchesa as always:

So far I'm only liking the dresses (and few at that) this season.

^Wow, I love those. And I can actually see celebrities wearing them and looking good in them.

^^ I've never looked at that designer before. Those are so gorgeous! I love the dye effect of the first dress, though I think it should have been more gradual maybe.

i was disappointed with 90% of NY fashion week. It was either boring or a complete wtf.

yup two a year BUT there's also the couture shows and then the resort/cruise lines too. so overall there could be anywhere between 4-5 shows a year because some even do a transitional summer into fall line.
anywho...yup lots of fashion to go around all year!!!
